Just received a call from UOB CS and confirmed my personal details. She said it will be processed within 7 to 14 working days and will post the YOLO card to my address. No additional documents is needed. I guess it is already approved? I'm an existing VOX cardholder lol.

Finger crossed the card can reach me before end of October and I can pay all my October bill, especially the TNB bill, so darn expensive. Hopefully pay using YOLO through UOBpayonline can entitle for all the rebate just like the VOX. Everymonth RM50 cash back is a very good amount.

most if not all yolo users here are waiting for their 1st cashback end of this month.

unless uob posts the cashback earlier than expected, then users will report it here.

if uob ngamngam post cb on last day of Oct, guess your tnb bill payment would be a gamble.

Finally received my Yalo card today!
Applied by calling to cs on 23Sep.
No documents needed coz is current Vox cardholder.
Plan to cancel Vox once Sept cb credited.

Actually... to be 100% sure, yes, test it out. In theory, anything online for vox should be applicable, barring the bill payments and certain ones which was reported under vox/cimb cr, such as uber, grab.

I think no need so paranoid question every online site la. After all, we can always refer tnc.

Yea lo. No choice but to wait. If missed also no choice haha. Got is better than none. Already predicted i might missed Oct CB.

if u dont want to call cs, fastest way to know approved or not, is to login to uob , under credit card>Credit Card PIN Creation, u can know once the card is approved. ( it will show XXXX XXXX XXXX 1234 VISA YOLO PLATINUM your name)

finally gotten my card yesterday, last 8 digits oledi 0001 xxxx
so many new YOLO card holders huh

card can be seen in uobonline banking since 30 sept, took forever to send out
first call 23 aug, then again on 22 sept after i complain about no getting anything

I really got all my UOB cards via Poslaju even the PIN & Pay card. This card arrived after 4 working days after I applied via phone.
Well, probably I'm already marked as Customer from Hell in their book, that's why they quickly got it done for me before I complain them to BNM again. tongue.gif

Just sharing, based on my past experience with UOB CS, i have receive card both poslaju and normal post.

In order to opt for pos laju, its sometimes offered in a goodwill basis, or else you can actually highlight the urgency of getting the card ASAP due to traveling abroad...etc. For my case is that i mentioned i have receive my card 2 weeks ago as my supplementary have not receive, and so then resend the card through pos laju.

In the end, received both cards through pos laju and normal mail. blush.gif

In a way, u can actually request for Poslaju delivery, just talk to them nicely and highlight u would prefer poslaju, as u can share ur previous experience receiving card through normal post which is not pleasant.

Just my 2 cents.

mine was normal post
but now when i think back, the whole delay might be caused by myself, when they let me listen to the long long tnc through the phone, i thk i answered yes to apply the card and it's tnc but no to the PDPA (was driving and put it on speaker mode, can't really hear all the stuff) confused.gif
so when i called them back after one mth to chk, they just process it again tongue.gif

same for me, called CS just now. CS said they cannot convert it from their side, will ask telemarketer to call me back for the conversion.

I thought it was just easy thing like call CS and then just wait for card.

Sometimes I wish banks stop sending me cards via Poslaju, especially they like to send my stuff to my hometown address which nobody will be there most of the time. Anyway, for UOB I didn't request for it or telling them any urgency, luckily for them to pick up my office address. laugh.gif

Nope. Straight applied via CS. Done within 5 minutes. Mine is just additional card not upgrade.

You just say you are an existing VOX user and received SMS to apply YOLO. Please assist you in this application. As in how they do it, up to them. The CS attended to me told me will be conversion but at the end both my cards are still active.
