For 6%, you will need RM 800 accumulated transactions. You already have RM 400 spending earlier, more than enough.

QUOTE(gastacopz @ Oct 14 2016, 01:06 AM) but i thought cashback only eligible for these 2 categories? for YOLO card if based on their tncs as above post but again, i might be wrong Well, his question was about eligibility of cash back. Rightfully, one only needs to spend RM 500 to activate cash back eligibility. To maximize it you will need to spend RM 833.33 for online category. Back to his question, his RM 780 is already enough because he has other spending of RM 400 and enough to activate 6%. I think that answers his question. Want to maximize it, that's another answer to it and not just RM 800. This post has been edited by fruitie: Oct 14 2016, 01:13 AM

QUOTE(gastacopz @ Oct 14 2016, 01:13 AM) im done with that question im replying to the person i quoted above... not sure which is correct I edited a bit... Forgot some points earlier. And I'm with adele123. You can spend RM 800 on anything (except for online and dining to get 6% for online and 3% for dining) and spend RM 200 on online, you will still get RM 12. But in order to maximize it, we still encourage one to spend in these two categories. For my case, I will only spend RM 833.33 on online transactions. I hope I didn't confuse myself.

QUOTE(alchmiya @ Oct 13 2016, 10:33 PM) I cancelled VOX card last Thursday. Today I received a call to offer me YOLO card. When I ask about annual fee, they say will waive for 2 years and they never mentioned any other condition. Wait what? 2 years free? I thought according to TnC is first year free?

Standard is free first year, anything more than that will be promised by their own marketing team. Well, they can promise everything but whether it will be honoured eventually, that's another story. So get them to confirm in black & white.

And now I am confused what is the RM49.99 credit in my YOLO. Initially I thought it's a transfer from my VOX, but now I am not sure any more. And the description of the payment is not helping, too.
