Dear all, i just got replied from MBB official FB, below is their replied:

My Question:

Refer to this issue, May i know is the 5% weekend cash back is for ALL transaction same as previous?

Ans from MBB:

Hi XXX, good afternoon. Yes, you are correct. The cash back includes all local and overseas weekend (Saturday and Sunday) transactions excluding transaction for Maybank EzyCash, Maybankard EzyPay Plus, Cash Treats, Cash Advance and Balance Transfer. However, there is a monthly cap of RM50 per Principal Cardmember.

Glad to hear the 5% weekend rebate is back.

But I got another question to ask, previously there was a promotion by Maybank for the payment of Amex for rebate pool that was conducted end of last year. Did anyone receive the rebate already? Or still haven't announce yet?

Seems very long already.

5X TreatsPoints for Petrol transactions below RM500

For transactions above RM500, Cardmembers will receive 1X TreatsPoint for every RM1 spend

How about their 5x treatpoints on transaction other than petrol transaction? Still remain the same?

So, it seem government payment also entitled? As 5x TP didn't include government payment

Haha me too. I ignored this totally since they removed the CB. Then I suddenly saw it very active over the past week and now understand what the excitement is all about.
