Glad to hear the 5% weekend rebate is back.
But I got another question to ask, previously there was a promotion by Maybank for the payment of Amex for rebate pool that was conducted end of last year. Did anyone receive the rebate already? Or still haven't announce yet?
Seems very long already.

QUOTE(putra23 @ Feb 28 2017, 09:47 AM) Shall bring out the card from my drawer in 2 weeks time. The one uncertainly is by which weekend the cashback pool will run out... There is no pool on this, everyone entitled for the rebate capped at RM50 per month

QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ Mar 1 2017, 04:07 PM) The last I've checked, Maxis no longer accept Amex for direct debit. As they now outsource the DD payment platform to 3rd party, they only accept Visa/MasterCard. Less than 2 years ago, Amex was accepted. However I had to cancel my Amex due to fraud few months ago, was issued a new Amex card and when I wanted to change my DD card number to the new Amex card I was unable to do so anymore as they've moved away to the new platform I think M2U supports payment to Maxis by AMEX, if so you can plan it on weekend where you can get 5% rebate (if the news confirmed)

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Mar 3 2017, 07:20 AM) I think the 5% weekend cashback for September 2016 spend has just been paid. Can see a credit (for 5% of my eligible spending) in M2U, but the transaction details have not been posted yet. QUOTE(epie @ Mar 3 2017, 08:17 AM) Yup, receive some rebate RM40 but I think it's not just for Sep 16

QUOTE(imnotabot @ Mar 15 2017, 08:33 PM) Damn this changes everything. Time to convert my Ikhwan Mastercard back to M2C, since I can't seem to get approved for a new Maybank CC for now. Can try go maybank card centre and request to split credit limit for the M2C. That's what I did for Ikhwan last round
