The 5% cash back is for all type of transactions, right?

I'm really surprised that the level of acceptance for AmEx cards in Mumbai is much higher compared to KL. Every single shop that I went which accepts CC will accept AmEx.

Just in time for the return of 5% weekend cash back while I'm here until 31st March.

Based on The Payment Card Reform Framework stipulated by Bank Negara Malaysia, regardless of whether credit card is Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card, merchant should pay same 1.1 % interchange fee to card issuer bank (bank that issues the credit cards to customers).

It seems that the card issuer bank illegally imposes much higher interchange fee for American Express credit cards,  to the merchants, thus the merchants stop accepting American Express credit cards, to keep operating cost down.

Anyone, any thought on this matter? 

More than RM1, let's say my monthly statement around RM90+ including GST, I pay RM70 manually using weekend 5% CB and the rest RM20+ will pay by Autopay.
I will get around RM3.50 from the 5% CB and RM2 rebate from TM.

I got FD put in another bank, can i use that FD receipt as supporting document?  along with my pay slip , bank statement , epf statement

because i was rejected by maybank. so thinking to add somemore supporting documents to prove that i can own a Credit Card

Have been trying for 10 times since last weekend to pay PTPTN using FPX charged to maybank2cards American express

Right now I'm at ptptn office, trying with their computer, also fail

Show it to the ptptn officer on duty, they said have to call to ptptn head office on working day office hour

Then pay manually at ptptn counter using American express credit card

Ptptn branch at puchong kinrara branch accept maybank2cards amex, no service charge, just have to take number and queue up there but I'm so lucky cause no other customers there

Just wondering, anybody successfully paying PTPTN using FPX charged to maybank2cards American express credit card by online payment method

Or any other way to pay PTPTN using online payment method and charged to maybank2cards American express credit card?
I'm trying with Cimb credit card namely cash back Platinum credit card , pay through jom pay only get 0.2% rebate

Yes, PTPTN is the cause. I don't know mine will take how long to recover back. Luckily current cards still sufficient for my usage.
Gotta check my CCRIS soon.

Not sure but when I made payment that time AmEx was one of the choices.
