QUOTE(kding2 @ Oct 9 2016, 06:47 PM) At this point, I trust more on Samsung than those random scrub's words when we just learned recently that there was a scumbag victim tampering his note for lulz. I think you are very good in imagination. You can be story teller.I mean, how is hard? If I am rich, I can buy 10 iphone and hire 10 different people to burn my 10 iphone, and then asking those 10 people claiming that iphone was unsafe to use and refused to let Apple to investigate because...why not? Hire people to make it explode? WTF If this is really the case, why Samsung need global recall and waste USD 1 billion ? Dont be a fanboy trying to protek a brand just because you love Samsung. |

This thread really pointless.
Many Samsung fanboys here couldnt accept the beloved brand are in deep shit and prevent others in posting negative news. I dont see other brand fanboys like Sony, HTC or LG fanboys as serious as Samsung fanboys !!! |

bad news are actually welcomed, adding kerosene and nonsense to the bad news is another.
I somewhat feel like exchanging my unit or refunding it..i love the phone, im not afraid of the risk of it exploding, im worried of the resale value, haha! But I think i might be using it for a long time. Its a great phone, end. |

It's really a great phone and it's really a shame it has turned out this way.

Samsung knew a third replacement Note 7 caught fire on Tuesday and said nothing
SOS QUOTE Another replacement Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has caught fire, bringing the total to three this week alone. This one was owned by Michael Klering of Nicholasville, Kentucky. He told WKYT that he woke up at 4AM to find his bedroom filled with smoke and his phone on fire. Later in the day, he went to the hospital with acute bronchitis caused by smoke inhalation. This post has been edited by gogo2: Oct 9 2016, 08:38 PM"The phone is supposed to be the replacement, so you would have thought it would be safe," Klering told WKYT, saying that he had owned the replacement phone for a little more than a week. "It wasn’t plugged in. It wasn’t anything, it was just sitting there." The most disturbing part of this is that Klering’s phone caught fire on Tuesday and Samsung knew about it and didn’t say anything. And actually, it gets worse than that. Samsung asked Klering if they could take possession of the phone and he said no, though the company did pay to have it x-rayed — but the damning evidence comes in the form of a text message that Klering inadvertently received from a Samsung representative: Just now got this. I can try and slow him down if we think it will matter, or we just let him do what he keeps threatening to do and see if he does it Samsung was aware that its replacement phones were catching fire five days ago. Another caught fire on Thursday (on an airplane), and then another on Friday in the hands of a thirteen-year old girl. That’s three in less than a week, with Samsung giving its customers little more than meaningless platitudes about "[taking] every report seriously" and that "customer safety remains our highest priority as we are investigating the matter." Except that’s a lie. If customer safety was really the highest priority, we would have seen statements from Samsung telling customers to stop using even their replacement phones after the fire on the Southwest flight on Thursday. At this point, it’s irresponsible for us to say anything else: If you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 you should immediately stop using it and return it for a refund — all the major US carriers will exchange the phone, regardless of purchase date. We don’t know why Samsung hasn’t been more forthcoming about what’s going on with these replacement devices, but it doesn’t really matter. Until we get more information, the simplest explanation is the best one: The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is a fundamentally defective product and it should be pulled from the market without delay. |

Dont be a fanboy trying to protek a brand just because you love Samsung. I was talking about the recent "note 7 explosion" after the recall event and gave out an example on how people can orchestrated certain event and claimed as a fact. How does this made me a samsung fanboy if all I did was asking you guys to wait for an official statement from Samsung about it instead of straight away riding on those victim's claims. Don't be sheep Ok? |

Guys,
my opinion is post news good or bad. But if you decide to do that, kindly verify the facts and ensure the news is from a reputable and well known tech site. Additionally, please also check that the news you are posting is actually new (just happened) and isn't posted 2 pages back, otherwise, you're just freaking annoying and cluttering the pages with junk (anything other than the first reference becomes junk). Don't just post because you found an explosion story and then go, yeah yeah.. let's go laugh at note7 users, then look for this thread and post without even checking if you're the 10th person posting about the same news even if it's from a different tech site.. Example, the southwest flight incident, i think i saw the same link a few times and multiple links from various tech sites which contains the same story paraphrased or even copy pasted. Thanks but no thanks, I've read it once, I don't need to read it a thousand times. and dear saints, stfu. we don't need you imposing your belief and expecting the rest of us to follow. Annoyed note7 forumer. |

Now onto feedback.. battery life on my phone today has been the best!
After 12 hours and I'm down to 45% from 100% with nearly 4 hours of screen on time. Thanks to those that introduced greenify and recovery mode cache wipe, it helps a lot. for the forumer that had the same greenify issue as me (manual hibernation required), after the recovery mode cache wipe, clicking the greenify hibernation button will hibernate apps without manual intervention albeit 1 by 1. Battery temp 30-35 celcius during normal usage unless gaming etc.. [add on] battery temp in office (airconditioned) is around 25-30 celcius This post has been edited by jrrsim: Oct 9 2016, 09:39 PM |

To those who quote me .. i also malas want quote u back already .... phone threads are never for bad news NOR good news or worshipers ... we never say we can only share good news so don't be a beech and call us worshipers .. i for once don't give a crap about Samsung ... they can go bankrupt or they can do whatever they want it has nothing to do with me ... all i'm saying is this thread is going way out of control with all the exploding crap .. so what if it's exploding ? 1 case ? 2 case ? u want post more videos ? 10 videos ? 10000000 case? Samsung say they are checking on the explosion after replacement already so let it be ... .....
phone threads are supposed to be for users to discuss about what the phone can do ... compare battery ke .... share casing ke .. where to buy this where to buy that .. what the phone can do what the phone can't do .... share good apps ke .. things like that ... not for sharing good news .... u want share explode news ? ok no problem .. thanks .. we know now that replacement unit also can explode ... but without official announcement, you most 1000 videos of it exploding also no use ... ada paham ka ? I'm not sure about lyn but most car groups in FB are CLOSED groups ... only for users only ... funny how haters can terbalik call us back "worshipers" lol ... macha i don't own Samsung la ... worship apa lanciao ? want find worshipers pls go apple forum lol ... funny world we're living in ... edit: and honestly i noticed those who keep posting videos since v3 are STILL those WHO DON'T have the phone ... really funny ... we who own the phones are obviously more concerned than you bro ...
