As a known fact among forummers here at LYN, these phone specific threads are for the said specific phone owners and potential owners to post any questions, suggestions and reviews about the said phone. While constructive criticisms are mostly welcome here, its sad to say that most of the comments here are more towards trolling. Please be reminded this is the android forum and not your usual K'. What I noticed is a lot of K's started lurking in this thread and posting like there were in K' and hence the trolls and nonsense in this thread.

I'm a Note 7 user myself and I did power down my phone when the announcement came from Samsung to do so. I have replaced my set and am using it again as my daily driver. I find the Note 7 as the best android to meet my needs at the moment compared to my other android and IOS phones which are laying in my drawer.

My suggestion is, for all you k's, haters, disbelievers, fence sitters, non note 7 owners, its really up to you on what you want to believe in on the Note 7. My word of advice, if you still think the phone will post a threat to you and your life, then don't buy it but please do stay clear of the this thread so that the real owners of the phone can discuss about the phone here in a peaceful manner. Your unconstructive posts, trolls are not really helping and owners might find your posts offensive and hence the arguments here.

Past few years Note series is only about less than 15% of Samsung sales. I don't think Samsung will collapse even if they stop selling the Note series. I simply view this as a temporary problem for them
Unlike many pessimists here I believe they will overcome this problem and could even end up stronger
Seriously if any had a single doubt of the safety of Note7 just don't buy or sell it off if you had changed it.
All these pessimistic posts about the safety is not helping to improve the problem

Indeed n totally agree of it. 1st of all I read all the news worldwide n Lyn forum thinking not to buy note 7 but I'm Samsung n Apple fans so I bought it n try it. It's totally flawless, gorgeous, glassy, style n superd mobile phone with spen beside s7 edge. The battery temperature standing around 29c to 33 at outdoor while in air con room around 25c to 27c. backlight is very clear, camera superd. So far so good, empty battery charging original fast charger from 11.45am till 1.16pm was 100% fully charged.
Btw, Malaysia pre order how many units?

Haha, my Samsung note 7 is Coral Blue colors. Its very fantastic mobile to be used.

If really boom, our neighbors Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Filipine, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Vietnam, China, Korea, Amazon all still selling product here.

For those country whom manufacturers, production of mobile rumours said that it's sindikt making sabotage the listed share market fall down like iPhone n Samsung lost billions while they making profit.

U can read, give ur own reason, comments or whatsever but lastly u need to try, test n play it by urself then u know the answer.

I applied sp special front n back but not temper glass sp. It's stick very well without bubble nor peel off.

Btw, anyone interested Original UAG case looks like New n offer me, thanks.

Have a good day bro/sis n Note 7 user. cheers smile.gif smile.gif

Thanks Benny888 : ) Cheers

Sharing exploding pre-replacement Note7 news and videos after recall replacement date is definitely troll and flame bait, but sharing smoking/exploding post-replacement Note7 news and videos is great information sharing and product awareness. I am very keen on what Samsung game plan now.

What will Samsung do next? I guess if samsung 'have' to refund us, we will get some compensation, maybe full refund for official accessories that we purchased at samsung store.

But that's not the end of the issue. The main issue here is as for now, there is no flagship phone as complete as note 7. My pixel xl is coming, but i know it's not a good all rounder phone like this note 7 sad.gif

what i heard it was samseng manufacturing process problem

which 70% of the batt are made by them while the 30% by some china company

the 1 kaboom were from samseng itself

I really hope that these exploded cases (for replacement sets) are isolated case. Not applicable to all like last time

Taken from the news link provided by The Verge. The interview clip inside.

http://www.wkyt.com/content/news/Nicholasv...-396431431.html

Apparently, the reason why the news said Samsung was awared of this but never said anything about it, is because....

QUOTE
Samsung asked Klering if they could take possession of the phone and he said no, though the company did pay to have it x-rayed — but the damning evidence comes in the form of a text message that Klering inadvertently received from a Samsung representative:

Just now got this. I can try and slow him down if we think it will matter, or we just let him do what he keeps threatening to do and see if he does it

If that particular message was coming from Samsung, man, this is very terrible. So this is how the victim being treat. And this is how they handling the case report.

I think it's because of the volumes? Those are the countries where the Note 7 sales volume are much more larger compared to other countries.

I wonder why the owner refuse to give the device for checking. Since it is destroy, no point in keeping it. The whole thing sound abit fishy. Just wait how Samsung response to it. Isn't CPSC getting involve in investigation? If there is really a problem in replacement Note 7, CPSC will ensure Samsung recall the product. Not point in worry about these unverified story yet.

2 possibilities. Either that owner was lying about something, or that owner does not trust Samsung and he was afraid that samsung may cover it up.

Reading the replies here really shown the mentality and " tak apa" attitude most Malaysian have.

Too bad many still studying/working with companies that put safety last or never at all.

Remember, there tons of other things in life worth more than a thing called smartphone.

the owner go with media with this news, isnt he or she? why cant the owner give the device back to samsung for investigstion and log a report with CPSC who now investigate the note 7 issue. nothing better to get the governor offical involve unless u up to something other than the note 7 safety.

This is technically the first post-replacement Note7 explosion. From the message, it seems that Samsung tried to cover it up, then come the airline smoking incident. No way Samsung is able to cover up the airliner case.
