Guys, sharing is caring. When ppl shared good or bad news about ur product doesn't mean it's good or bad but to telling u the information & what's really happening now.

Whether the information is processed positively or negatively is depend on ur mindset. Telling ppl to shutup it's just not right...

isn't this sharing news to? i think info about phone exploding, why it's happening, or even updates on investigation is very useful.

I don't find the thread that useful when ppl say "I use the phone without SP" or "how much did you manage to sell your accessories".

or you expect the thread to only talk about how good the phone is?

if not happy, then no need to drop by this thread.

there's no reason to ask for thread to be closed.

that's very selfish thinking.
*
I agree. icon_rolleyes.gif

Last time I tot Samsung threads are for godlike Samsung fanboys to worship their phones.
If anyone came in and spread negativity of their so called "God" brand ... within 2 minutes, he/she will be get flamed till nowhere.
I have seen users (especially those new users who just bought thier phones) previously commenting Touchwiz lag or poor battery SOT or similar bad experiences and within secs, they got unecessary name calling, shouted at and being flamed or post reported. Of course, this is only their own opinion and experience sharing, why those worshippers need to go till this extend?
Seems the midset of these bunch of users have not change so far.

Sharing is always a mix of positive and negative.

But with just 3gb ram + less than 3000mah battery, it is certainly expensive.

ya, agree. used to be sony fan but their product feature(all features) to price it's just not that worth.
note 7 serve the best with tons of features and best out of other phone in many things (camera,video,screen,s-pen etc). plus we get freebie worth rm1136 (included discount). why not. tongue.gif

agree. from all those things we see now. let's wait and see whether it's the new replacement unit got problem or not (those claimed exploded in taiwan, korea etc) have to wait official report lo.
secondly, it's possible they repeat the same mistake where they rush for the 1st batch, and 2nd batch we received as well.
I rmb during replacement phone lots say the phone have what 2 black line top and btm of phone etc.
for me is alright, as long as it not lemon phone and dont boom ka ba.
so probably samsung is really rushing and didn't focus on QC.

another 1 things, just saying. since samsung rise from btm to top notch phone manufacture with so good sales internationally, might get sabotage from the battery part. (you know what i mean la brows.gif ) like those time US vs Russia Spy war. haha icon_idea.gif

It's using high performance Ram & 2900 is no different Than s7's 3000 but Sony is well known to have better battery management Than other androids. Bearing in mind s7 starting price is also 2699.

I have both n7 & the latest xz, both are doing excellent with pros and cons but nevertheless both are great phone to have. I enjoy the build of each other but too bad n7 had been contaminated by the recent quality issue if not it would be a top if not top phone to use.

Benny don't like Sony phone. He like Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra which is also insanely expensive for the spec but Benny
bought it also. So please forgive Benny if he say wrong thing.  laugh.gif

Uncle Benny next target is the pixel xl which also falls into the same premium price range, so I'm assume that as well

Yet another "replaced" Note 7 caught on fire on a 13-yo girl's hand while she was holding it, she wasn't harmed.

Meh, Sony disappointed me with the flagship Xperia S and Xperia Z. Will not go back with Sony until they totally change their after sales service. Disappointing. The best phone I have ever used is Nokia Butterfly. That phone won't die even drop from the 2nd floor. Hahaha.

As a known fact among forummers here at LYN, these phone specific threads are for the said specific phone owners and potential owners to post any questions, suggestions and reviews about the said phone. While constructive criticisms are mostly welcome here, its sad to say that most of the comments here are more towards trolling. Please be reminded this is the android forum and not your usual K'. What I noticed is a lot of K's started lurking in this thread and posting like there were in K' and hence the trolls and nonsense in this thread.

I'm a Note 7 user myself and I did power down my phone when the announcement came from Samsung to do so. I have replaced my set and am using it again as my daily driver. I find the Note 7 as the best android to meet my needs at the moment compared to my other android and IOS phones which are laying in my drawer.

My suggestion is, for all you k's, haters, disbelievers, fence sitters, non note 7 owners, its really up to you on what you want to believe in on the Note 7. My word of advice, if you still think the phone will post a threat to you and your life, then don't buy it but please do stay clear of the this thread so that the real owners of the phone can discuss about the phone here in a peaceful manner. Your unconstructive posts, trolls are not really helping and owners might find your posts offensive and hence the arguments here.

Xperia Z generation is one of the best, during that era, only Nexus 4 can rival it, even GS4 and iPhone 5 doesn't compare well. SD S4 Pro with 2GB ram, amazing camera, water resistant, I don't find it disappointing at all, in fact I find it impressive.

During that time Xperia Z is the best and I do bought it. But after 2 years of disappointing after sales service, no going back for me.
Xperia S = Yellow tint display (Repeat going back to repair at Amcorp Mall 3 times from Seremban to KL but no compensation and they add another problem to me with missing screw during installation and software lag) ranting.gif
Xperia Z=That phone is so hot that cooked my motherboard. That is only after 3 months of use. Have to replace but take almost 1 week to replace motherboard) vmad.gif

So no more Sony for me. Really disappointing. sad.gif

FYI: I have been a Sony fan for around 3 years before migrating to Samsung and so far Samsung do not disappoint me. (Do not flame me and I am not a Samsung fanboy, I already use many phones before including iPhones)

i am a note7 user.

used note 1 and note 2 as well...

and i do think Note7 is probably the best android around at the moment, but it doesn't mean it might not have flaws and catch fire and explode.

to think the phone is 100% safe is very naive.

US agencies are now doing priority investigations into the two cases now. no results yet, but i'm surprised some are like 100% sure. maybe you guys know something the agencies don't?

We understand the possibility of those explode or fire but let leave it to those authorities and Samsung for investigation.

If me or anyone feel worry or no confidence on replaced Note 7, the best solutions is off it, sell it or given as a gift to someone who you hate.

yes, seems gold colour was quite early, for replacement batch. black one seems the be the later ones...

there's been reports that the gold units did not even have the latest firmware out of the box and had to do OTA to hget the green battery icon.
