I bought some items from IKEA in May last year and received the 10% cash back then.

I am planning to return these items for a refund back to my original payment method. Will the 10% cash back I received from this purchase be forfeited by Maybank? It's been almost a year now.

Most likely it will 'charge back' for your current month at 1%.

Let's say item is RM500 refund to Barcelona. Then Maybank uses simple maths, if your spending for this month is RM2k, your cashback will be RM15 ( (RM2000 - RM500) * 0.01 ).

If your spending for this month is RM0, your cashback will be -RM5. I think this has been reported before.

I thought the 1800 no is only free if called from landline. I remembered wrongly then.

Ya i called the 0379490626 but never went thru. Maybe it will detect that my no is not from oversea and hence rejected?

Eventually i use fb messenger and the reply was within 20m and they called me back as promised. The card acc was instantly closed.

It was true many years ago. But now 1800 is free as well from mobile line.
P/S: 1300 is not free, from fixed or mobile.

Just terminated my FCB VS. I called M2P hotline but they said I need to call VS line to cancel. I usually call M2P hotline for queries even for VS or Plat card. However, CS said for cancellation needs to call to the dedicated line.

I still cannot forget being the first one to get the card from Maybank Gardens and I think I was the first one to post here with the card. Bye bye, got it on 10.10.17 and terminated on 23.04.21.

Oh ya. Wait till next week when it is still appearing then I will call again. I guess by that time I can call the usual M2Premier line to request to remove. I like that because calls are picked up instantly.

Yeah, I still can remember when they called me to collect the card on the same day. I went there to collect and all of the staffs were waiting for me to open the envelope, praising how good looking the card is.

I have other better cards. No longer serves me since its revision last year.

Ya, they also called me, as we went shopping and Luncheon as well. Collected mine n my spouse both as principles as well. Few came out and greeted us and also passed us some sign up gifts as well. They also reminded us to setup pin at their ATM as well. Really make us remembered this occasion.

Exactly. Got all my colleagues to sign up for this card. It’s like a must have card, straightforward with no hidden stuff. Those were the good old days. It shall be missed. I cancelled also because SST will kick in soon, in few days.

mind sharing what card u r currently using?

I have EZ plan payment as well as an auto debit with VSB. Can I transfer both to my amex with a phone call to CS? Planning to cancel also next month.
