well while you can chill, don't be surprise to see finance charges on your next statement. They waive off the late charge only based on your transaction history right?

Well i am aware that there will be finance charges as well. They only mentioned that they will waive the late charges.

I just made an online insurance payment with my barcelona card. Only then i noticed that amount is actually more than my credit limit. I immediately make some payment to bring down the outstanding balance under my credit limit. All that happens within half an hour. Will that temporary exceed credit limit incident attract any penalty or interest?

Thanks

I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to ask but if anyone knows this please help.

I would like to pay insurance premium using credit card online but the only option is via JOMPAY. I have never used JOMPAY before.

So at maybank2u, under the pay bill function, i can actually choose to pay from MBB barcelona card, then choose to pay JOMPAY, key in the biller code & ref to pay my insurance premium.

My questions are:

1. This is considered normal credit card transaction? i.e. no fee whatsoever will be charged by maybank like cash advance? and i can pay this amount by the cc statement due date?

2. No cashback since under Jompay?

Thanks

i have 12000 treatspoint that i would like to use to redeem RM25 service tax redemption for my Barcelona card. Is that workable?

I don't have other CC with MBB though. The points seems to be accumulated from the Term Loan account which i have no idea how it was calculated though.

edit: seems like not workable from the search, but i still wonder how i get the points and whether i can use it to redeem things e.g. airmiles, if not the service tax redemption.

03-79490626?
However, if you are in Malaysia, call 1800881801, free-call from mobile as well.

I thought the 1800 no is only free if called from landline. I remembered wrongly then.

Ya i called the 0379490626 but never went thru. Maybe it will detect that my no is not from oversea and hence rejected?

Eventually i use fb messenger and the reply was within 20m and they called me back as promised. The card acc was instantly closed.
