Planning to cancel mine too but I just recently paid my SST, wondering if I'd keep it for few more months and hope MBB will revise the CB % 😅😅😅
*
Of course just keep it until next round's of SST, no AF and still good for high purchase amounts.

Went to pump petrol. Use CC at the pump and received the usual RM200 sms thingy. Completed filling up the petrol. The kiosk did not dispense the receipt so went to ask for it from the counter. Then received another sms with the exact amount of petrol that I pumped. How is this possible when I did not use the CC at the counter.

Coincidence only. If you didn't go to see cashier, you would get the 2nd transaction as well.
1st one was pre-auth transaction and it won't be posted.
After you pump petrol, the actual amount was charged and would be posted.

First time getting 2 sms - 1 with the pre-aut 200 and 1 with the actual value.

Question, do I get cashback on paying through with this card in Shopee? And also, for the 0% Ezpay it only works on one transaction and not combined right?

cb based on full amount, not converted amount.

should be no issue, but nobody shared it here though.

unless your statement is 1st or 2nd, you can wait for cb on 2nd, then convert it.

I am put off by the annual fee, need to spend minimum RM2500 per month for the year to get it waived.

any recommendation for someone who only use credit card for emergency purpose and 0% installements for big ticket items?

I dont really believe in cashbacks and travel points at the expense of spending more.

Just need cc to manage my cashflow when purchasing big ticket items or buying emergency things.

You should put it at the recommendation thread (pinned)

But for a no headache card, barcelona is an ok choice. 1% cash rebate on most spending and no annual fee to worry about. Temporary there is 0% ezypay promotion by maybank but it's on campaign basis.
