Hi guys. How is Korea's public transport? If I want to go to cities outside of Korea, can I just take a bus/train? And is Korea easy to navigate around? Map/GPS will do? I thought of planning a diy short trip there, but knowing that I'm quite a timid person, I'm scared I'll get lost and end up going nowhere.

If you travel light, you can reach anywhere in the country via bus and train. Google Maps doesn't work very well there, you will need to brush up some basic Korean and use Naver Maps or similar, at least recognize the words for food

Hi guys, im gonna have a 14 hour transit in Incheon Airport before my fligt departs... Wanna ask is it pssible to get out of the airport to do some city sightseeing? Or can only stay at the airport?
If possible to go out, any recommended activities to do (around 4-5 hours) around Seoul?

You can try out the Seoul city tour which will allow you to join a short tour from the Incheon airport. But whether or not you can just go around the city, that's a little tricky to tell the immigration officer. Some brief details here - https://www.airport.kr/pa/en/d/2/3/5/index.jsp?tabIndex=2Not that I recommend it, but better than staring at people I guess.

I know this is super random. But anyone on this thread is a sneaker head and have recently travel to Seoul / jeju or is currently staying there, mind me asking are Ultraboost / NMDs widely available. I am heading there in March and just wondering how easy is it to get a pair there. Just trying to get them for my own retail purpose and not to resell is so difficult over here! Thanks for the updates! Oh and heads up on where to get them would be nice! Thank you!

Thank you! just came back from Seoul last month. as i was searchng for NMD as well, frankly its available like Tri color both black and white available.....but the sizes range are impossible to get. but those like XR1 and R1 typiccal colors u can easily find in ABC Mart or other sneakers store around Seoul. price wise slightly more expensive than retail in Malaysia even after deduction of tax u can collect at the airport!

QUOTE(Joshua_0718 @ Feb 2 2017, 10:12 PM) What theme park is preferred during winter? Lotte World or Everland? Lotte World is mostly an indoor park, so unless you love the cold weather or have immunity to freezing bites, I suggest to go to Lotte World for winter. It's also nearer to Seoul and pretty straight forward to go to. I personally like Everland more though, but definitely a little harsh at the peak of winter.

Yup, change Korean won in Malaysia as they don't accept RM over there. Prepare some USD, AUD or SGD to change there. Alternatively, credit card all the way This post has been edited by Joshua_0718: Feb 5 2017, 01:30 PM
