Yup, change Korean won in Malaysia as they don't accept RM over there.
Prepare some USD, AUD or SGD to change there. Alternatively, credit card all the way  tongue.gif

Do remember to activate your PLUS. You may find the PLUS logo behind your atm.
PLUS is international withdrawal, used it to withdraw in Singapore before.

i can call to maybank to activate right?

yes you can withdrawal cash from oversea only at those atm with plus/cirrus logo.
you must first activate oversea withdrawal at atm or through internet banking
bare in mind bank will mark up the conversion rate and one time service charge is impose per transaction.
recommend for emergency use

i see i thought the rate is better with this way @@
i will use one time at there only ...
can i activate by calling to the bank?

Anyone got a simcard when travelling in Seoul? Im going mid April for a week and thinking is it better buying a SIM or pocket wifi. Only 2 of us travelling. Pocket wifi is about RM105 for a week.

And anyone stayed near Jamsil stadium? Attending a concert there and its about 45 mins from Seoul. Might look for accommodation at Jamsil for a night or 2.

for the simcard, depends on your choices
i have used simcard before, it's unlimited data.
and you can choose data only, or data+phone call too
when u return the simcard, they will count the phone call fee if you got call, it's quite cheap though
but if you just use data only simcard, u can just throw it away after finish using it
i never use pocket wifi, so i cant comment.
because i will keep turning on my internet, so i think simcard is more suitable for me

CC is very welcomed there, almost every place have CC
