QUOTE(mydragoon @ Sep 24 2016, 01:38 AM) hmm... the update for old phones is 170+MB only. the one mentioned in article is is 400+. The one mentioned in article is America carrier version, so it's quite normal if the file size is different with the Malaysia one. Samsung device has too many version for each model. Everytime they released a new update for a specific model, every country version is different in term of file size and log file.

QUOTE(jacky91 @ Sep 24 2016, 02:05 AM) my current s-pen working fine might keep it also...thanks for reminding I don't think you can keep the S-Pen lah. Eventhough it's considered as accessories, it's still a part of phone. I don't think Samsung will let you go easy on this one. Unless you tipu them said it's missing, then they probably have no choice but let you go with the new S-Pen. Just my 2 cents. This post has been edited by Max2006: Sep 24 2016, 02:10 AM

QUOTE(latte36 @ Sep 23 2016, 10:59 PM) Looks good, but the borders are below screen level so if u drop screen first, it doesnt have any protection Thanks! The lips are higher than screen for top and bottom, below the edge screen for both sides. Similar like those SPIGEN Tpu.

Even though I love the N7(So far running without any hint of problems) I request for refund from SME, I prefer to wait for N8 rather travel with N7. The SME very friendly when I told them I wanted to request for refund. Since today and tomorrow the management not working the CS promised to call me on Monday to advise how soon I get the refund.

I noticed the shortcut to Samsung Pay as well, though Note7 seems to be not in the list of supporting devices. Possibly because it's still not officially launched in Malaysia.

I have same request a week ago and they agreed. Just need return everything including freebies to a SC then give them the Job Sheet/Reference Number will do. But refund will be after 29/9. Anyway they didn't mention what is the amount to be refund or sure will approve. End up I decided to go for replacement on 29/9. My opinion is yor sell it personally will be faster and less hassle.

QUOTE(jerryhean @ Sep 23 2016, 08:01 PM) Note 8 definitely have to come out stronger than any note ever made. Samsung have to bounce back and reclaim customers confident, that is the way to do it, more stringent QC and testing. If they don't learn from this fiasco, dont know what to say... Don't worry. Samsung always learn from mistake and listen to their customers. Like S6 and N5 which doesn't have SD card slot and a small battery. This year, S7, S7e and N7 they bring back SD card though no removable battery. But i prefer a phone with a battery sealed in. No risk for people to swap cheap aftermarket battery when you purchase the phone.

Why can't they just post it in the official website? They can always argue with customers as the official statement is still BRING EVERYTHING!

QUOTE(uk15029 @ Sep 24 2016, 10:11 AM) What kind of mentality Just return everything. Cheapskate +1 Typical Malaysian mentality lo. Always want take things for granted and never appreciate. Please la people. Cut Samsung some slack la. They already very generous enough to do a global recall and exchange every N7 unconditionally. You people lagi want to keep this keep that. This is why i describe these people retards in my previous post. Seriously there are no other words could describe this kind of cheapskate. Take a look in Samsung Mobile Malaysia facebook post.

Acting generous to return everything and spend to buy later meh when needed? Since its allowed I don see the wrong in keeping... its just like a lawyer playing puter halim with the law . ..
