So which one better? Civic vs M3.
Yet to test drive both.
In my mind now, Civic vs HRV vs M3.
My HRV friend ask me buy sedan better for baby seat and stroller.
SUV back seat not spacious enough.
*
My opinion civic is well-rounded - comfort (cvt), spacious (space), sporty (design), performance (turbo).

I agree civic is the most well rounded, all areas performed well but. Those that perform exceedingly good wasn't great in other areas. i.e M3 has great ride/handling but poor in legroom and NVH. Altis most comfort but at poor at handling, design.

So far I have tested HRV and Civic. M3 yet to test. Other car in similar price range also not yet tested (Altis, Cerato2.0, etc)

E spec HRV is priced about the same as civic 1.8, yet Civic 1.8 have more features. So i strike HRV out of my list already. The rear seat (not the legroom area) got hump at the center, very uncomfortable to sit in the middle. HRV dashboard doesnt look like will age well (weird design especially passsenger aircond). The cons for HRV in my opinion is the price, specs given and it's a B-seg.

If i were to choose SUV, Mazda CX5 still is better choice over HRV but CX 5 2.0 seems under power in my opinion.

Changed mine for RM570 (excl GST) expensive I know, but that is the best price so far that I can find in JB. First impressions - rolling noise is similar to CMC5. Didn't drive hard for now since only used about 20KM laugh.gif will review more after I have driven it more than a week.

CX5 should be compared to CRV. HRV should be compared to CX3.

HRV V and Civic 1.5 TC price only difference by about RM5K.
Weekend will go Malaysia Autoshow 2016 at MINES International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) to check it out.
Seen SUV back seat not as spacious as Sedan car like Civic, Accord, Altis, M3.
Cerrato look nice but not sure about quality, FC and second hand value.

done my first service A
complaint to SA about rattling sound from steering, air-cond and front bumper gap problem and they only can submit the report to claim compressor. they not going to do with the rattling sound unless they heard it during testing. not even when i have recorded the noise doh.gif
they also need to schedule another appointment with body & paint department to check the gap problem.

another 2.5k km for service B

yes.can't do both together at 7.5k km
meaning i will get charged 2x for labor fee for service a & b. if do both together then i assume the labor charge will be cheaper

EDIT: just read the FAQ and SC actually can do service a + 10k km service together if interval difference is up to 3k km right?
also, does that mean i have to go for another engine oil change at 10k km?

Huh? Don't understand. Why service A done at 7.5k? not 10k?

Once service A done, i thought they will reset the oil life monitoring back to 10k again for next service B (Oil + Oil filter)? or 6 month whichever come first...

This is my understanding.. not correct meh? sweat.gif

service a(engine oil life) will pop out earlier depends on your driving habit. i quite heavy foot in highway so that explains why

and yes, they did reset the minder to 10k for service b but they didn't change oil filter and other checking in service a. little bit confuse like should i go for another service in 10k or just follow the maintenance minder? there is no stamped on 10k km in service booklet too

Wah, when you buy the car? So fast have issues.
Is it normal that all buyers will have some issues within 6 months?

Sigh.. in summer auto ss14 now doing service A

They can't find the dashboard noise. Same case with you.

Luckily the tech guy heard the tak tak noise on the steering column but says it's gonna take time to detect.

I wanna scold ppl d

Maybe we should pull a "Vw dsg" protest in front of honda malaysia office

whats your mileage for doing service a?

i just suggest the SC to check the VSA modulator(could be the root cause)but they just ignore it

the compressor issue, they found the gas sometime not pumping in that's why the hot air will come out.
