QUOTE(hellwaker @ Oct 5 2016, 06:35 PM) I will press break hold while in D mode. Check out this mechanical engineer's explanation on 5 things not to do in an auto transmission car (7:15 to 10:05) ..From the net it was mention the CVT will auto dis-engage if the car is detect not in motion. Not sure this is true or not. Any mechanical expert can validate this? https://youtu.be/6zzEtxJkC7Y |

My driver seat's leather head rest is not properly stitched at the bottom.
You all may want to take the head rests out to check the bottom stitching. |

QUOTE(odi862 @ Oct 6 2016, 01:46 PM) Hi. I've been looking around for a nice solution to this too.Anyone feeling the annoyance when the knee rest on the hard plastic especially during long driving? Found out from other Civic X Forum here some Civic X drivers also facing the same problem. Their solution quite nice but looking for alternative here. I want to avoid any permanent glue sticking to the side of the centre console. So far, no luck. Please post here if you've found a nice solution later. |

I'm trying to get confirmation of this relay thing that you mentioned.Besides new car got relay[l tink tats wats its called] when starting everyting goes off even radio.. so l dont tink itll affect much.. I hope to find it in the manual (although I doubt the manual will go into such technical details). |

QUOTE(dirtrun @ Oct 7 2016, 05:27 PM) At least I think its called a relay [I am most probably wrong..] but its been around for ages.. Hey, thanks for the info.I used to be like you n shut everyting before powering the car off.. but car batteries will die irrespective - eventually.. heck l dont tink its even affected by this leaving-everything-on-and-starting ting, at all.. From my experiences having different cars[from Myvi to wifeys Jazz n others], more like de different cars design, some [like the myvi - 1yr n 1 mth KO] just eats batteries n some hardly uses em[Jazz - 3yrs n changed it cos the SC said it was dying but not dead yet ..] I dont think its in the manual.. thou' This is what I call a life-changing-info ... haha. I finally can change my long-time habit. |

A quick question ...
Is the noise level of Michelin Pilot Sport 3 or 4 the same or lower than Civic X's stock Conti MC5 tyres? Anybody with experience on those Michelin tyres? |

QUOTE(GeekinE90 @ Oct 11 2016, 11:06 AM) Ya, was tempted to swap out my 19' PSS with these on my other car. Me too .. Michelin will be my 1st choice most of the time. The Goodyear F1 A/A2 was prone to cracking and splitting under hard driving. Among the 3 brands, Michelin, Goodyear and Continental, I trust the French rubber brand most.. My other ride is on Michelin Primacy 3 ST .. really comfortable & quiet but lacks handling precision (but overall road-holding is good). Never used Goodyear F1 A/A2 before but I was told very noisy. I'm still considering to change the Civic X's rubber to PS3 or 4. |

QUOTE(pangch @ Oct 13 2016, 02:57 PM) some times , when I close the door ... the alarm "beep beep beep" not like normal 1 sound "Beep" I double check the door are close and light all those are switch off already. after walk away its does not auto lock. I'm not too sure (coz I haven't really explore the car's features yet) .. but it could be that you've moved away from the door too fast/soon.any 1 faced this issue be4 ? Must remain at the door and you'll hear a beep within a second after closing. Then move away. |

QUOTE(0168257061 @ Oct 14 2016, 12:23 PM) QUOTE(Eternalgl0ry @ Oct 15 2016, 11:09 PM) I unhook the wiper last weekend .. and yes it is J Hook. The OEM wiper brand name is Mitsuba. [attachmentid=7790860] I also think PIAA Si-Tech flat wiper blade is more suitable for Civic X and also most other cars. Because the front windscreen is curved, the Si-Tech's shape will put more consistent pressure across the length of the wiper blade. Also this model will retain the ori look of the car.
