For those who have rattling noise, did you checked your tires pressure? HMSB is not the greatest when it comes to this. 8 years ago received a City on my mom behalf and car was jumpy with rattling. Check tires pressure and it was at 40psi. Lowered it and solved the problem.

8 years later, last month, mom got a CRV. Test drove it and was jumpy with squeaking noise. Check tires pressure again, guess what. 40 psi front, 38psi rear. They never learn. Lowered it and was much much comfortable. Even the recommended pressure at the door was 32psi. Still have the squeaky sound.

Noticed that the civic's turn signal has to flip 2 level that can stay on the permanent to have turning signals. not quite used to it, the 1 level seems stay 2-3 seconds only.

As a matter of fact I like such feature. Stay 2-3 secs is enough to alert drivers that I'm cutting into their lane

However I migrate from Proton Saga where the turn signal is at the left. Still have the old habit, always accidentally turn on the Civic wiper LOL doh.gif

Problem with the 1st level - case: when you wanna cut lane to right, you flip it - it blinks (about 3-4 times), and you wanna stop the signal, so naturally you will flip to the left (but it won't stop)- then its turning the left signals doh.gif

Yes I did, just wana know whether newer batches have this problem.

my car also feels jerky sometimes. I think it is the cvt gearbox being slow to find the correct ratio when accelerating from standstill, and another moment is when you do sudden brake, and then try to accelerate again quickly

Just leave the signal stalk alone until it stops blinking. It only takes 2 seconds at the most for the 3 blinks to flash rolleyes.gif

the tack will stop the phone from sliding and
the screen edge will block our vision to see the tack right

One-touch turn signal function is when signaling for a lane change. You just need to lightly push up or down and release the turn signal lever. The turn signal indicator will blink three times. Then it's automatically stop blinks.

No need push up or down again after blink three times.

ya..there were sometimes at "undecided" lane change - once you touch on the signal, but at one second you don't want to change lane, naturally you will pull back again. At this second - conventional way is much more precise to turn on the signal manually that the car behind know what are you doing.

Thanks for the concern.
Yes, the possibility is there.

I've removed double-sided tape on other surfaces before using Vaseline (petroleum jelly) with no left-over mark / adhesive / glue.
That's why I take the risk. sweat.gif haha

But when removing must do it slowly. Don't pull out with force. This 3M tape really strong.
Then apply Vaseline to remove balance by rubbing finger onto it.
(Maybe got different darker colour after few years not exposed to light)

Yes, I did that too.
But the shiny black surface at the gear stick very easily scratched.
I think better don't put there.
Also, cannot charge if put there.

Put on top HU with Blu Tack holding phone better.
But, put phone vertical cannot charge phone.
Horizontal, block air-con vent a bit.

I use the Spigen magnetic air-cond vent mount. Works like a charm and sits nicely on the headunit without the hassle of clipping the phone on or permanently sticking a mount on the car.
