QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Sep 7 2016, 10:21 PM) These are the most reasonable comments so far. You guys are right, people here are more concerned on what will happen to their expensive screen protector or body wrap applied, their expensive backcover and their 1 year lcd warranty. Isnt the safety and wellbeing of our ownself the main priority when such issues crop up? Tbh, my note 7 has been lying in my drawer since Samsung announced a recall. I would not want to risk myself or my family just because I paid rm3k for it. Morever, Samsung has already announced a recall and possibly a refund which I think is fair enough. Agree with you. This is Malaysia!

QUOTE(shinobikit @ Sep 7 2016, 10:32 PM) I think what he said is right and no, not rich ppl talk. Honestly, people who can afford note 7 is medium to high class. Or else, you would't be able to buy a RM3k phone. Well, that's my personal point of view. I know most will argue after this.

But for middle income ppl income like us, eat roti and save few months still can afford 3k phone, but expectation different, the one and only phone. For rich people different, oh.. note 7 got time bomb issue, then i keep in drawer and use my note 5 or iphone 6s first... the hell.. i only a 4 years old note 2!

QUOTE(shinobikit @ Sep 7 2016, 10:32 PM) If you think that its worth risking your life and limbs for the rm3k u paid for, then I dont have anything to say to you. I have more important things to take care of. Like mentioned, Samsung is replacing the phone. To me, its case closed.

QUOTE(eetony @ Sep 7 2016, 10:45 PM) I c not medium to high class also can buy iPhone nowadays.. lol Malaysia is bolehland. Handphone is more important than food for most Malaysian. That's why our mentality is wrong. Nevertheless, I do not want to comment much because each and everyone of us is responsible for our own decision.

Well, I don't want to comment much because decision lies to individual on what phone to get and what they would do with the phone if it's "faulty". Yes, expectation is high on such an expensive phone. But what has been done wrong, is can't be changed. At least Compensation is made. Samsung can keep quiet and don't reveal it's their mistake. We can use the phone like normal, anything wrong, Samsung can say, it's the user who use the phone differently or give all sorts of reasons. Honestly, no matter how good a company is, there is bound to be some error in production. Whether the company takes the accountability and admit the mistake or not, it's a different story.
