Apple better be coming up with something really revolutionary like the Note 7, if not... it will be curtains for them. Looking at the current leaks, I dont see any for now.

Apple hasn't done "revolutionary" since the passing of Jobs. But I don't see curtains for them just yet, not when Samsung's latest and greatest now has the stigma of being a fire hazard...
*
They have to at least make the phone look good, better than the 6s/6s+. Looking at the leaks, I have high doubts. shakehead.gif

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Sep 7 2016, 06:01 PM)
That's the saddest part in this country. Other countries people are concerning about their own safety and make sure their rights is protected. Meanwhile in Malaysia, all you guys can think of is when to get the replacement and what is the compensation.

One day oredi so many pages of post lol .... seriously guys calm the f down la .... I follow this thread from v1 to here .... if you read back really can laugh at those SKL .... before recall news all say "recall sure korea only la ... malaysia where got ppl care 1 blablabla" ..... things like this just stfu and wait for official instructions la ... don't simply spread rumours .... u all call samsung call digi call courts .. live chat blabla ... never notice the reply is all same all like robot meh ? 29 , 1 year insurance etc .... so obviously they only get this 3 instructions only and dunno about others lo .... u kill them they also can't reply u ... u expect them to answer you what ? "I DON'T KNOW LA DON'T FKING ASK ME ANYMORE" like that meh ... or u want them to answer "YES U CAN CHANGE COLOUR, YES U CAN GET REFUND" ..... chill ppl ..
*
QUOTE(GymBoi @ Sep 7 2016, 09:01 PM)
One more thing ... don't forget those call centre people are also working only .. making a living only ... they don't own Samsung .... control your EQ ... All also waiting SME to make statement ... I think meanwhile we better discuss how to prevent .. or anyone got any CONFIRMED statement then we all can appreciate those. ...

Personally I can't keep in metal box, my old note 3 oredi give to my dad =.= Some recommend before download GSAM battery ... i use the widget and notification, alarm if temperature above 38 .... once alert immidiately i stop using my phone ... also .. charging use wireless AND slow charging (need about 3.5 hours =.=) and I also use those timer thinggy from hardware shop ... i set after 3.5 hours auto cut .. been using this since note 3 days ... i never overcharge my phones)

My job need to use camera alot ... very worried also ... but what to do ? Pray hard till 29th
*
These are the most reasonable comments so far. You guys are right, people here are more concerned on what will happen to their expensive screen protector or body wrap applied, their expensive backcover and their 1 year lcd warranty. Isnt the safety and wellbeing of our ownself the main priority when such issues crop up? Tbh, my note 7 has been lying in my drawer since Samsung announced a recall. I would not want to risk myself or my family just because I paid rm3k for it. Morever, Samsung has already announced a recall and possibly a refund which I think is fair enough.

If you think that its worth risking your life and limbs for the rm3k u paid for, then I dont have anything to say to you.

QUOTE(thugs @ Sep 7 2016, 10:37 PM)
I think what he said is right and no, not rich ppl talk. Honestly, people who can afford note 7 is medium to high class. Or else, you would't be able to buy a RM3k phone. Well, that's my personal point of view. I know most will argue after this.
*
To me, no gadget is worth losing sleep over for. I have more important things to take care of. Like mentioned, Samsung is replacing the phone. To me, its case closed.

Like mentioned. All still using their note 7 should be carrying a fire extinguiser just in case. Safety first.

Don't limit to flight alone... Petrol stations and all easily flamable zones too should not charging N7 or even use it....

N7 exploded in Car while charging

QUOTE(sengkin95 @ Sep 10 2016, 12:30 PM)
Never though I'd see the day where a personal item such as a phone is banned from entering a commercial flight
*
No matter what, I have stopped using my N7 let alone bring it along on a flight. You are not only risking your life, you are risking the life of others too. Im not sure if security offers will know how to check if your Samsung is a note 7 though... laugh.gif

QUOTE(i am number 2 @ Sep 14 2016, 04:02 PM)
lol...if u are rich enough to effort this phone, why make so much noise, it's just 3.2k, for a rich fag like u it's just a small amount.

only poor fag will have this kind of mentality, "i paid u 3k, i am deserved a super VIP treatment".
*
Typical kiasu mentality. whistling.gif

Note 7 = suicide bomber.

Relax.. The Note 7 is still the best android phone currently. Aside from the bomb issue. sweat.gif

What for to power down if mine is working perfectly? and FYI I am not alone keep using it as my daily/only phone.

Samsung announcement asked all to power down is for their own sake, means if anything happen they are safe.

Also did you see/heard any Sam Note 7 explored in Singapore/Malaysia?
*
So, if your phone does explode, u mean Samsung will get hurt but not u? hmm.gif
