Removable battery FTW...

If N7 were a removable battery device. Sammy's announcement,

"To all N7 owners, please swap your removable battery to ANY service centres starting next week. We can assure the new battery supplied are safe and free from issues.

Your continuous support in Sammy product lines and services is highly appreciated.

Thank you."

Bring back removable battery "tech"....

if removable battery, then there's no waterproof with an IP68 rating innocent.gif

I don't believe in waterproof tech... It's "gimmick" tech to lure consumer... All materials has wear and tear issue, waterproof tech is rubbish to me.

Not to mention, mobile phones easily overheat and effect waterproof materials easily ...

We'll see later lots of H20-gate in Apple's 2016 flagship later...just take pop-corn to enjoy the news ..

Xiaomi CEO don't trust waterproof

Funny thing is, after I factory reset and reboot it, it tried to update its firmware and it failed. Now I'm stuck. Wipe data and reboot also no difference.

The log shows this:

No support SINGLE-/SKU
Supported Api:3
Dm-verity verification failed...
Need to check drk first...
E: failed setting up dirty target....
[omc-app-link] fail to mount/system as rwE:failed settings up dirtytarget
[hwr_symlink] fail to mount/system as rw

Damn sien nia.. mega_shok.gif

Now have to google for solutions.. smh

This prove that no matter how many time you said touchwood, at the end, the phone will show up some problems eventually. No matter how many days, how many weeks, how many months it takes, it will come to you eventually. So I am sure even samsung recall programme is finish, we will probably still hear some explosion news from time to time because based on the human nature, I sincerely believe there's a bunch of people who won't replace their faulty Note 7.

I think he not sure. But everyone know NOTE7 got problem. Who will buy Note7?  I think probably no one. You never know which explosive Note 7 you get since some didn't plan to exchange it. For 2nd hand. So really 2nd hand note 7 is probably 0 value. Not worth risking your life and family  life.

Probably no one? What are you? A prophet? Please don't speak for everyone, ifags.

I heard that airplane had crashed few times per year, better don't take plane starting today.

Are you theoretically speaking or speaking through experience? Water resistant is a good feature and protection to the phone, how is an additional features that's working a gimmick? I used to wash my XZU everyday for one year, and its still working fine today, so you're telling me its a gimmick? Other phones that's not water resistance don't even have the ability to do that

Oh this. Well, somehow I think this method is only useful do the buyers. For other people who don't use Note 7, they don't really care whether your phone got the sticker or not. What will they do is, "Nampak Note 7, I terus lari". I hope you know what I mean. tongue.gif

Also, in future, let say if I buy a new Note 7, I take it out and go to work with my colleagues. I take it out and yam cha with friends. They all will ask me to prove if my phone is the old unit kah? replacement unit kah? Or brand new unit kah? etc etc. I know this is just a small matter. But after spending 3K, I still need to bear with all those troubles. what a bummer.

I know in the future, Note 7 issues will be fixed and safe. No doubt about that. But in real life scenario, how many people around you will understand that? If they do follow the tech news, then it's fine. If they don't, you have to explain to them one by one and prove that your phone is safe.

I know later some people especially those Note 7 supporters will condemn my thoughts. Well, go ahead. I just give my opinions. I have nothing to shame about. whistling.gif
