I won an item on eBay, but when converted to RM it's over 5k, so I can't pay using linked debit card or cc because maximum spending of each card is RM 5k.

Can topup PayPal using RHB, but RHB only allows RM 3k per day, I need 4 days to transfer to PayPal... seller can't wait that long. In addition, I prefer using cards because PayPal conversion rate is horrible I heard.

Any suggestion on how to pay for this, other than wire transfer?

Can I check with you all, usually Paypal withdrawal pending status usually takes how long to change to complete? It has been more than 24 hours but the status is still in pending mode. Does anyone face this issue before? Is it normal to take more than 24 hours?

Update:

PayPal allows combined payment method, so I was charged from my PayPal balance first, and the remainder was charged from my card.
I found out that topup from RHB to PayPal in USD uses slightly better conversion rate than PayPal's conversion rate when they charge my credit card. Not much difference, around 0.010-015 sen only.

No problem.Paypal will convert USD to RM.but with some charges (eg: 1USD is RM3.8 so Paypal charge 1 USD RM3.9)

I have a serious issue here.

I just got scammed by someone online which the payment is made through Paypal.

(Brief story)
He asked me to send money ($30) from a website to his Paypal. I did what he asked.

He said he will pay me back the money, but never... he did not pay me back the money. I've submitted a dispute but the seller is lying for whole thing.

I was using CIMB bank card to made the payment on Paypal. What should I do to get the refund?

i'm having a problem with paypal about pending balance. my friend sent funds to me but it got stuck in the pending balance for the 21 days. he already confirmed receipt for the transaction but still the funds still stuck in the pending balance. So what can i do to solve this problem ?

Recently I get scammed from a buyer on Paypal which he file dispute to claim back the money, and he won it, now my Paypal account having negative amount of total USD 98.

Would like to ask if I decided to ignore it, can Paypal take legal action against me such as law enforcement or debt collection in Malaysia?

More details below.

- Been using Paypal near 8 years, clean and all good transaction.
- First loss in Paypal by dispute from this buyer.
- Paypal have my Bank Account.
- Paypal have my Credit Card.

P/S : Since Paypal have my Bank Account and Credit Card, would they automatically charge it from my Bank Account or Credit Card to refund the negative balance if I don't pay it?

*** EDIT : Nvm I paid it yesterday night, doesn't want any trouble, but just worried if I don't pay, what actually will happen to me.
