You cannot add funds, but you can use directly. But I notice if you use Maybank debit card, after 12.00 a.m cannot use. Try to pay for your items between 9a.m-11.30pm.

when i send money i get this message
"Sorry, your payment won't go through. To make it work, you'll need to add money to your account and pay with your PayPal balance."

when i try to add fund
"PayPal does not currently offer the ability to add funds from your bank account."

both way also can't.

in the end i still have to get funds from fren cry.gif

So what is the reason behind it?

i really want buy ebay item =(

*i tried this afternoon and got this message*

Maybank debit card? Your item cost how much? Maybank limit at RM500 for default online transaction.

Unfortunately you can't as the bank account name has to be the exact same as your name registered in Paypal so does for credit card/debit card.
As for the exchange rate from Paypal, it will always be lower than the local bank rate / market rate as Paypal set their own exchange rate.
So there is no other method on regards of this matter. Aside on this the Paypal exchange rate varies from day to day so there might be at a certain
day the rate are still alright but it will still always be lower.

and sorry to ask, if the answer to the above question is a NO, then what other methods can I send money ONLINE to other country without a credit card or debit card. i wan strictly cash. and not via bank transfer. opinions?

@qwer312 > no problem~! icon_rolleyes.gif Yep 100% sure about this.If you read through all the info stated over at the Paypal Help section it said
"The name registered on your PayPal account must match the name registered on your bank account.
Each time you make a transfer request, PayPal automatically includes your registered name with your bank information."

Most likely that particular person/people who offered such services will required the seeker to paypal his/her funds into the helper's paypal account
in order to help them withdraw the money. Sort of like the online trading Paypal funds services (buy/sell Paypal funds) if you get what I mean?

Paypal Help section pretty much has most of the answers to your questions there, so do spend sometimes read it through when you have the time
else you can always email them or call in their customer service line. They are pretty helpful smile.gif

@raysiew > erm...so sorry am not very sure what you mean here? unsure.gif

Mine to explain? For MOL, that am not sure as I have not use that method before.....
Probably the best would be giving them a call and check it out?

You can try look up Moneybookers, Liberty Reserve & AlertPay. Else the last option always
comes down to Western Union. Sorry am not much of help here sweat.gif

A – Verified Malaysian Paypal a/c (linked with direct access cc)
B – Unverified Malaysian Paypal a/c (linked with cc but still unverified coz cant check statement yet)

I got a question here…A want to transfer RM6000 to B (money will be taken from cc not paypal balance)…which option is the best for A to choose below? A just want to transfer to B without having to incur any transfer fee/charges or if there’s still a fee/charges which one is the lowest and better? Will B account be frozen because the transfer amount is quite high?

Online Purchase
- Goods
- Services
- Ebay items

Personal Payments
- Shared expenses
- Payment owed
- Rental charges
- Others

I got a reply;

@lala01 > Yes you can have more than one Credit Card under one paypal account but both cannot be link to the same bank account if you decide to keep both. There are no minimum withdrawal but there will be fees apply if your withdrawal is less than $400RM and the fees is $3RM. If is more than $400RM there are not fees apply. The exchange rate is very much based on Paypal's own exchange rate which is always and will be always less favorable than the normal exchange you see locally or over at xe.com. So be prepare with the unfavorable exchange rate.

My question is;

Can I remove my current CC and add my M2U debit card? How long does it takes?
My current CC is maybank, but I am unable to withdraw to my account right?

Thanks!

@Asus > For your question. Is best to have B verified his Paypal account before the transaction took place because unverified account
has funds acceptance limit. And yes at times when the transaction amount is high, Paypal will do a security routine checking by asking
A and B to provide proof of identity verification to prevent funds laundering. Choose Personal Payments as it charges the lowest fees
and A can either choose to bear or not to bear the fees as compare to Online Purchase, it charges a 4% fees in regardless.

@lala01 > Yes you definitely can remove your CC and add in your M2U debit card. The process is imediate but Paypal will need
you to go over the verification process once again whenever you add in new CC/Debit Card. Usually to get the verification code,
you can call in your CC/Debit Card customer service to request it instead of waiting for the statement although I am not sure about
Maybank, as am using Public Bank cards all the while as back then Maybank cards is not supported for Paypal sweat.gif
As for withdrawal, you still can withdraw the funds as it will transfer directly to your bank account not your CC/Debit Card anymore.
Hope this helps.

I notice that if I select the online purchase method; This is a purchase of: Goods or Services there’s no charges. Is it being deducted at receivers end or what?

@ lala01 > It will be the same as credit card, will require account holder to key in the newly generated verification code from Paypal which will appear in your debit card statement.
It will be in your bank saving account provided you already add in your bank saving account information into your paypal account before doing any funds withdrawal smile.gif

Hmm, sorry for my noobness in this.

My current Paypal is verified using Maybank Visa Credit Card (since last time). Can I add my Maybank saving account details in Paypal to withdraw fund into my bank?

I dont have to put in Maybank Debit card to withdraw money in my bank account right? Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks

Hi, can someone please tell me how long does it take for the verification code to appear on Maybank2U after you request for your Visa debit card to be linked to your PayPal account?
