Hi, i want to ask about how to withdraw money from close paypal account after 180 days? My account currently is access limited and paypal told me that they will close my account and hold my money inside my account for 180 days. My account is verified with a virtual credit card. What if i change the virtual credit card to public bank VISA electron debit card, will i able to withdraw my money to my public bank debit card after 180 days?

yup...i registered under paypal malaysia and two weeks ago they limit my account and open suspicous behaviour investigation on me even though i have no dispute/claim from other party before. I wait about 1 - 2 week for the investigation but paypal no further update on those investigation since two weeks ago, even other party involved in the paypal investigation had already reply to them. So i email to push on them to solve it quickly. But in return my payment to other party are force to reverse by paypal and they make final decision to close my account in just two weeks time and put in 180 days limitation. AND more important is they even no require i sent any verification documents to them and ask any single action from my side before make the such crap "final" decision to close my account.

I don't think the customer service center for paypal malaysia is really set in malaysia since they have no official service center at malaysia but only singapore...and thus i don't know where to complain with except with the crap cs through webform...their cs quality even worst than tmnut cs monkey. Maybe i can try direct phone call to service center at singapore and shout at them to try my luck...

some online rumors stated that never login yr paypal account with proxy and clean all yr cookie/history before login becos paypal will get yr cookie legally to check which website u visit and that may cause paypal to judge at u as a suspect of fraud and put u in account limited access even u are the genuine account holder. Not sure is true or not

do you use paypal to sell things? or just do purchasing? account verify alrdy? There are many reasons that paypal asking information from you, including the funny reason. Limited access is in temporary and will be lift in uncertain time, the wait for 180days one is they do final decision to limit you forever and force you to close your account. Even you are innocent, they still will limit your account and open investigation on you due to some automated result they get from their monitoring software...

If your account still got money inside, just follow their instruction by provide yr ic and bla bla bla...there is nothing we can do at here, unless u stay at USA

i wondering paypal selling in forum is against law? As you know, there is still some innocence ppl who may blacklist by paypal due to some funny nonsense reason and cause them cant use or open paypal account themself

i think if there is fund in yr paypal account, u can withdraw to yr bank account...

However i think this new announcement only benefit to Malaysia Seller and not common buyer who use paypal to buy thing from foreign country..Because paypal fund can only withdraw to our local bank account but our local bank account cannot transfer fund to paypal account, is that right? Common buyer still need to depend on debit card or credit card...

paypal fund can still buy from other place, website...but there will less one place to make the con complain or notice to let other ppl know who conning..

I think tat cannot be done...Maybank visa debit card can use to verify the account but there is still a problem to use it to add fund to the paypal...Only some of the bank debit card can be use to add fund to paypal, not all bank in malaysia. And paypal transaction fee 2.5% will apply if u use credit card or debit card, even u use as personal payment to send it.


I agree too...simply ban it wont stop or reduce the scam...it still will happen at other place.

after you verify the account, mostly they will limit yr account soon or later to ask u send ID proof, address and etc even you got nothg wrong. That doesnt matter yet becoz they do this to get all your personal information.

But sometime even you send all the thg or proof, they still limit and put you into wait for 180days...For one of the my fren case, he just use his verified paypal account to purchase thg only from online and alrdy deal successfully with other ppl more than 50 times with no any dispute/claim against him before. But one time he make payment to one new ebay seller, then paypal limit his account and open cases to start investigation on him. This investigation even drag other no related and alrdy complete transactions which my fren deal with other seller before, and make these transaction suspended and cannot transfer to other seller even it is no related.

Paypal customer service just give him a simple reason "We have observed activity in this account that is unusual or potentially high risk" and they no even ask my fren to send anythg to them or do anythg, they just wait response from the seller. Ok that doesnt matter yet since they also state a deadline to solve this cases. But after the deadline and seller alrdy response in two weeks before the deadline, the account is in limited status. So my fren email them to push on them to solve the case quickly. Guess what he get? Fund of all transaction in the case been reverse back to his account and paypal made final decision to forcibly close his account and put in 180days limited status before close it...ofcos all the reversed fund inside his account need to wait for 180days then only available to withdraw.

In result other seller involved have to cancel the deal which fund reversed and my fren need to apologize to them for the payment delay and cancel. But surprisingly nothing happen on that new ebay seller which involved at the first time, he still can continue the sale. My fren had try direct call to cs in singapore and he also keep email back...but he just get the automated reply like copy and paste from cs. I guess he need to complain to higher position staff or regulatory agency then only will work...

yes i think u can withdraw to maybank debit card or public bank debit card, but the card may not use again with other paypal account as they will record the card number and link to your limited account. The limit of withdraw amount is depend on your debit card.

it should be in RM since paypal got state malaysia user only can interchange with RM. But i no try yet since they announce that RM is available for paypal...

do admin really understand what the service for...It is just a help buy service, not direct sell the fund and service fee oso charged. I dont see it against any law or rule

well i heard tat too, somehow paypal keep record of yr IP when u register account. Some ppl login with other country ip than the original one will get suspect by them...same apply if u use proxy server to login. Not sure how to solve it cos paypal got an automated system to record and judge on yr action, like a job performance review

well...here is yr answer:

1) Not sure about the receiving fund limit, i merely guess is unlimited becos paypal want yr money flow in their pocket. For sending fund limit, it is 1000 USD (before they announce accept RM).

2) For sending fund limit, it is lifetime except u solve the unverifed status. Not sure for receiving fund.

anyone use tune money visa card to withdraw before? The exchange rate lower or higher than other method? And for the withdraw with bank account, can i use other people bank account like my friend bank account to add into my paypal account and withdraw from paypal?
