The interest I earned for GIA in August is about 3.646% which is lower than 3.75% as advertised on the website.
Just made eFD placement of HLB via FPX. Surprisingly, the interbank fund transfer via FPX is instant and no need to wait like the IBG. Most importantly, it did not incur any charges. Have anyone use the FPX with other banks ? Appreciate if can share with me some of your experience. |

QUOTE(mamamia @ Sep 2 2016, 01:23 PM) May I know when u able to see ur FD placement reflected in ur online banking? I was able to see the placement in my HLB Connect immediately after placement. I did it just now, FPX transaction status shown successful, and my SCB fund deducted, but I still don't see it in my HL Connect. I received SMS saying my placement is failed. HLB said no fund received.. Need to wait 7-10 working days to investigate 😠As for my earlier post about getting an SMS that placement failed, it has been clarified by PBB (from which I transferred funds) that it was because their login page failed to load properly the first time and I had to refresh it and key in login details. Thereafter, it proceeded normally. The placement went through and was successfully placed. It does sound like your placement encountered some problems. Sorry to hear that This post has been edited by Blue07: Sep 4 2016, 11:39 AM |

The 3.646% is due to the some of the days, it was 3.75% and some of the days it was 3.58%. You have to calculate to see it for yourself. I re-calculate the interest rate based on the following; Principal X interest rate /100 X 31/366. If I calculate the daily interest based on rate of 3.75%, the total interest will marginally more than what has been credited to my account. |
