I do have to apologize first for stating the wrong RPM for 110KM/h, it's actually around 2.8/2.9K rpm, let me take a picture next time

. Morning drive I guess, the meter light are so terang. I'm glad someone notices the throttle problem. If you notice, about 30% when you press the pedal, the power delivery is so slow (I think proton made this kind of setup for fuel efficiency) but once you go more than 30%, the power delivery is instant. I do hate this kind of this where you need pedal to the metal in order to get the power. I don't know if you notice it or not, when shifting from 2 to 3 rd gear, when you release the clutch and pedal there is somewhat power delay around 0.2 sec and then once that phase is over the power comes back. I don't know whether to complain to proton about this or not, seems like they setup the engine like this.
I'm too used to BLM bro, even the Persona Getrag (where almost everyone satisfied with the transmission) are not satisfying for me lol. Maybe I need to really get used to it, considering been driving the saga for almost 9 years (I still drive them, persona becomes weekend car).
Its ok bro, talking about the throttle problem I'm not sure is it because of the DBW, I do also feel the car have slight sluggish on the start, but after the pick up reached certain point, it goes really fast.. is it the car has poor low-end torque or what? And Yes, the acceleration I need to step more to get the power delivery I'm looking for, unlike the sensitive fuel pedal on the Myvi, however like I said earlier, it could be I have already got the acceleration I'm looking for, just the stability and sound insulation of the car masked the feeling.
And one thing I need your help to check, on FLX when I'm on gear like 4th gear, as long I'm cruising at RPM below 2k, there is some kind of engine vibration like telling you to downshift, even I'm not accelerating or going up hill... I suspect this is due to the absent of VVT because the Myvi I drove don't have this issue even my RPM is at just 1.5k
So does this kind of Vibration appear on the Persona?

i do think the ecu plays important role here.... it feels sluggish at time from 2nd to 3rd... its like the engine is holding back its power in the name of eco.. probably an ecu update will solve this? we'll see.. proton will cater to this if there is the demand for power from the user.... but if we do complain n given that most of the manual tranny pwner complain..they will issue an ecu update...
The sluggishness I felt is at startup from the moment the clutch bites, don't have that immediate pickup... but after a while the RPM rise quite fast.
