If just to keep the line, without making calls etc. Can consider to port to Digi and some of the prepaid plans have 90 days of validity. So every 90 days (though I suggest to do 3-5 days earlier), just extend 1 day validity for RM 1. Your line will be active for another 90 days. One year around RM 4. smile.gif

What’s the disadvantage? You will need to do your own calculation and tracking because I notice some plans don’t send SMS to inform before line termination. So, please be careful or you will lose the no. forever.

I have three no. parked in Digi now.

digi has backtracked after giving all the legacy plans 90 days

No... Hotlink is up...

I mean having both Hotlink and XOX is enough... one is Maxis and the other rides on CelcomDigi network. Both had areas where they work and do not work.

My XOX as stated in Black apps expired on 2027

With this new policy (RM30/4 months), which date I should refer to? Anyone can provide any answer? CS no answer for this

If you just register onexox prepaid and haven't purchase any validity(1 year) then you should top up RM30 when you received sms stating "Your number haven't had

any top up for more than 120 days" as attachment below.

If c.s.(12273) have no answer, you can email to cs@onexox.my

i guess this thread active coz of the recent T&C change whereby SIM with no transaction within the last 120 days will be blocked.

i am kinda upset coz my SIM was only going to expire in Sep 2024 (28 months). only reason why i ported to XOX in the first place.

so, even though i still have the FAT500 ongoing (deduct from my existing quota), it will all get blocked unless:
* i top up rm30 every 120 days (OR)
* buy the 6/12 months validity at rm18/ rm25...

the thing about buying the validity is... that is what the Welcome Bundle provided in a sense. purchase the Welcome Bundle within 10 days and enjoy 28months valiidty. so, it's outageous that i'll need to extend the validity before Sep 2024.

anyway, i don't wanna waste more time arguing with XOX (had several tickets with them on this).

i have:
* lodged a case with MCMC for the misleading promo -- even now, they website claims up to 36mths validity (and happily omitting the fact about this new T&C)
* ported to Unifi -- I have existing prepaid with them and with the new apps, it's easier to now track my expiry.

unfortunately for you... your SIM will be blocked based on the date of the SMS. your validity on the apps isn't that useful anymore.

so, either top up, or buy the validity extension thingy...

or port out.

i'd suggest complaining to MCMC for their misleading claims (about 36mths expiry)

Pleasantly surprised to report that first day into disekat today, I am still able to go online with unfinished mobile data..

Besides, outgoing and incoming calls and sms works as normal like before.

Yeah.........onexox/xox prepaid users should report to MCMC/SKMM about this misleading "Free 28 + 8 = 36 months validity" which awarded after new users

purchase welcome deal within 10 days of prepaid activation.

Don't know what about the status of "Syariah compliant" and never see their certificate of "Syariah compliant"

Maybe the system haven't update and you need to take note and check from time to time,who knows one day your prepaid may suddenly terminated.

mine still in the process of porting out. replied YES di. so, waiting for signal bar to disappear, then swap SIM.

but yeah, like you, still got data. but dunno for how long... since i wanna keep the number, i ported out before things go south.. smile.gif

2 black 4 prepaid
Cancel 3 od them
2 already MNP
1 more to go since today(1/5/2024) holiday we wait until tomorrow morning only do

From Jan 2024 to Apr 2024 onexox/xox change their T & C for their prepaid 2 times already doh.gif

For the latest T & C changed effective from 1st April 2024,dealers stated that they lost many prepaid customers(Port-out) and very hard to find or sign up new

prepaid customers.

Maybe onexox are focusing on black plan which are far more profitable than prepaid.
