Just MNP'ed in OneXOX prepaid from Digi prepaid.

Bought Welcome Deal 333 minutes season pass for RM30 and got a sim validity of 30 months, 2 months more than the stated 28 months. Don't know why is it so??

Question for sifus:
My credit balance now is RM5.20.
If I top up to buy a 12 months sim validity extention for RM25, will my 'new' sim validity remains the same at 30 months or it changes to become 42 months?

I paid RM40 online. RM10 for the sim card and RM30 for the Welcome Deal 333 minutes.

The supposedly Free 1800 SMS for new users isn't being indicated in the Season Pass (Black App).

Trial sending out 1 SMS gets charged for 10 sen as shown in the credit balance.

Why is that so?

After Month 12, can the unused SMS be carried forward to Month 13 and thereafter till 28 months validity period end OR all unused SMS would be burnt by Month 13?

I ported-in Hotlink Fast prepaid plan weeks ago and comparing against prepaid plans from Digi Next, Yoodo and OneXOX, its 20GB RM30 validity 365 days is value for money when one's monthly data consumption is below 6GB from 0.334GB to 13.3GB.

However if monthly data consumption is even lower at say 200-300 MB (yet to evaluate) below 0.333GB over 28 months - then OneXOX maybe better value for money.

For 365 day 12 month validity categories, probably Hotlink Fast for 1GB, 2GB, 4GB or 8GB 365 days validity, Hotlink Fast data package would still probably win out.

As suggested above, its weak point is unattractive call rates and sms rates.

For monthly data consumption of 6GB and higher, Digi Next 6GB RM15 package wins out.

For average monthly data consumption from 0.334GB upto 13.3 GB, Hotlink Fast data package still wins out.

[Edit] However at monthly data consumption of 13.4 GB and above and upto say 30-35GB, Yooda 20GB data plan at RM20 monthly would win out.

Other telco plans would upset the above comparisons imho.

Note:All data plans mentioned above are high/fast speed internet plans, not 3/6/10 mbps internet plans.

Whilst data could be 'subscribed' from Season Pass Data storage as described above, there seems to be no way of subscribing Voice minutes from Season Pass Voice minutes storage.

Does voice minutes need not go through 'subscribe' phase and can be used/consumed direct from Season Pass Voice minutes? Meaning the Season Pass voice minutes are considered as 'subscribed' through out validity ?

Some old posts above says MNP into OneXOX from any other telco, one automatically gets 28 months validity extension without subscribing to Welcome Deals.

Today it is still the same as before or those MNP'ed in must subscribe to Welcome Deal (as additional condition) then only gets 28 months validity extension?

Care to elaborate more on why is a number within validity period ( which means it is Active right?) is equate to a barred/blocked number in above case?

Sifus correct me if I'm wrong, existing XOX number cannot get 28 months validity, only a new (to XOX) number - new sim or port-in may get 28 months validity by subscribing to Welcome Deal within 10 days of sim activation.

If you're not porting-in, you need to have new sim number.

Edit: Was your XOX number on 28 months validity before?

Yes, 500MB/30 days -- it was a gift from OneXOX/referral.

With a top up amount of RM30, is this 2 GB free data rewards 'stored' in Season Pass (good for duration of account validity say, 28 months) or only valid/active for 30 days?

Ok, just did the top up and expecting to get 2GB data by tomorrow .

Would report back here whether it is for 30 day active usage or park in season pass.

XOX gives me 60 days to redeem the free 2 GB data voucher.

Meanwhile it's still unclear to me now whether it will go into season pass or otherwise until and unless I actually redeem the free voucher I guess.
