Appreciate your effort but my issue remain unsolved after attempting it. I have previously lodged a complaint to XOX and I believe they have taken similar action and yet remain unresolved. I'll port out once I have exhausted/sold off my season pass.

In facts, some Onexox user's OTP/TAC problems are not solved until they port out to other's telco.

Till now i still don't understand why when users port out from Onexox to other telco,the OTP/TAC problems are solved automatically. hmm.gif

Typically, the blame towards non-receival of OTP/TAC issues should be directed to the SMS gateway provider of the respective online service/bank in most incident.

Unless the online service/bank receive a significant number of users complaining about this issue when using certain mobile carrier, they most likely will treat it as isolated incident and not forward this concern to their SMS gateway provider.

Especially with size of userbase of OneXOX, I doubt changes will be seen in near future.

Am curious. Which banks are you having problems with the TAC? So far for my MBB I have no problem

I never had issue with Maybank so far.

I'm having problem with Public Bank previously and a I lodged a complain to the customer service. The CS escalated this issue to the technical department and issue was resolved.

As for Shopee which I frequently faced issue with, the CS refuse to admit the problem is on their side and insisted that my phone or service provider is blocking those message when I have shown that I'm not completely illiterate in tech. After proving my tech literacy, the CS told me to either get another phone number or switch provider to resolve this issue. I keep on pressing them saying that I don't not consider these suggestion as effective solution and request escalating issue to technical department.

I have spent considerable quite a bit of effort on dealing with Shopee and currently there are too much thing that I have committed to, so I give up on pressing on for solution and decide to port out.

I see. I don't have PBB and my shopee is not using XOX, so can't help you there. Guess if you really have problem, then have to MNP. Or if XOX is really useful except for Shopee and you don't mind spending $10, can try getting another XOX and use that # for Shopee to see whether it will work with a new sim.

Any of current user still experience didn't receive tac issues? Mind to share which bank or service you guys having issue in receiving tac?

I am consider to port in xox due to it long validity but tac is very important for me. I think I won't port in if tac was common issues among current user.

I received a spam SMS at 3am today. CS said they will refund me ASAP the RM4 that the spam service charged.

But they can't immediately refund the 15 cent charged, which is the SMS to subscribe the said service, that WASN'T SENT FROM MY PHONE. I've notified CS my concern that, obviously, why my number is used by someone other than me.

Not possible for your number to be used by someone else but rather ads with spyware that uses your phone number to subscribe to unwanted services. The users than get innocently charged a few ringgit here and there for no reason. Just complain to CS and if they don't take any action, just lodge a report to MCMC.

Hi,not all Onexox user face the OTP/TAC problems,

some user can receive OTP/TAC immediately after line activated and some user have to wait for 3 days after line activated.

how about port out to another celcom mvno like redone, tune talk, yoodo ? so if OTP/TAC problems not fix it means celcom problem not onexox one.

You see, I switched over to OneXOX from TuneTalk. I never had trouble with TuneTalk. The only service provider I had problem is with OneXOX and Yes.

Once again.........in my opinion,Onexox should find way to solve not only this OTP/TAC problems but also make improvement to be a BETTER telco provider than other telcos.

If Onexox don't care about losing "SOME" of their users,they can continue to push the OTP/TAC problems to others(Apps,banks and more).

Should focus in how to be better than others in terms of line coverage and data speeds which recently many users are complaining.

Hoping to be Onexox user permanently.........although already port out 2 lines from Onexox due to unsolved OTP/TAC problems.

I don't think we should blame OneXOX here. I believe not only me but also other OneXOX users face similar issue but aren't vocal enough to voice this issue to bank/online services.

When there are enough complaint from users of the same network, only they will realize this is not an isolated problem and take a more proactive approach to resolve these issue.

Try to connect to 3G/HSDPA protocol to see if OTP/TAC goes thru or not. If still not getting the OTP/TAC, then, better port out.

Would using 3G/HSDPA protocol help with the OTP/TAC? I thought having 4G/LTE protocol would be much more reliable and better. Just curious Bro
