Nowadays handphones can use 2 simcards and it's a must to have 2 or more different telco's line which 1 of it will be a back up line.

Hi semua, need some advice.
I am using XOX Mobile long validity (OneX plan). Before can receive TAC/OTP SMS (bank, PayPal, etc.) when roaming. But now cannot anymore.

Regular SMS from kawan/family boleh masuk no problem. But TAC SMS semua tak sampai.
I am using Android phone (MIUI Global ROM), also already try put SIM in iPhone, still same problem. Balance cukup, line roaming ok.

Question: did XOX change something? Now not allow TAC/OTP when roaming overseas? Anybody here same problem? Any solution?

Slow internet again... did they overdo it with one family plan?

Speedtest is fine like it's bugged or purposely not throttled. However loading sites is slower than hotlink now.

I have a similar issue, trying to port out to hotlink but can't receive ID verification TAC, checked call and sms working fine, tried register baskin Robin account can receive TAC just fine, but tried hotlink website port in ID verification thing, cannot. Tried with other YES number can receive, so not hotlink server problem. I'm seething right now, tommorow gonna stomp in their branch and demand port out or flipping tables.

Side note, just my guess, they filter sms that have telco name mentioned in it, kok blocking people from leaving their pathetic service. Very in line with their current antics (forcing prepaid user upgrade plan thing) & increase validity extention price. God dang it.

Edit: Just tried with UMOBILE ID verify TAC thing, it works. So only hotlink can't, odd.

Call 7 CS, said got issue with celcomdigi tengah checking, ask me to monitor restart phone every hour.

To those Onexox/xox prepaid that are selected to be auto upgrade to One-X prepaid plan and didn't top up RM30 in time : -

1) All previous validity will be void and will have 30 days validity from today onwards.

2) All data,minutes and sms in season pass acc will be confiscated.

3) Cannot purchase HAPPY HOUR PROMO.......can only purchase ONE-X monthly plan.

No basic internet 512kbps, even xox official app also cant load to renew/buy plan.

In good words : Will not carried over but I rather prefer the word CONFISCATED or BURNED.

Now everyone know what/how they treat their users with new T & C,auto change plan and their dealers with new harsh KPI,doesn't they cruel enough ?

Already made complain to mcmc, suggest anyone with same issue to do the same for this unfair youtube throttling. The more reports they receive, the more attention it gets. Mention youtube 4k videos unwatchable 8pm-12am daily caused by artificial throttling.
