Yup, the spread is much better than PPL. I was surprised when the CS asked me if I would like to try Flight Club last Thursday morning when I went to PPL. Flight Club looks more like a restaurant with classier deco and setup than the usual PPL to me. They also have a lot of different liquor and wines there but Im not sure if it is available for us. I didnt request as it was 7am in the morning. Oh and the view is on the other side which I think is better than the old PPL.

PBB sig I think u need bring along their silly coupon...

Really bodoh... cause I always forget.. so I use ambank instead

Huh? I think you are referring to CIMB coz PBBVS doesn’t issue any voucher for the lounge access.

Um... lemme go home and take a look.. I got 3 pink coupon.. pretty sure it was PBB..

It's easy for ppl/fc klia to manage guests as it's airside so already automatically restricted to passengers..don't know how ppl gateway and klia2 GM manages guests, as it's landside....I don't remember gateway asking for boarding pass, so people working in klia with Ambank cards can go there everyday for lunch free....lol

Huh...coupon? Where to get these coupons? Used CIMB VI to get into PPL Changi, no coupons required. Is this a KLIA PPL requirement?

Hardly fly out of KL so hardly use cc to gain entry to lounges there.
Remember using KLIA PPL twice and it was macam pasar or at best kantin.
The buffet line were almost cleared of food . Tables were not cleaned with lots of leftover food being left on tables.
The atmosphere was nothing like a place to get some rest before/in between flights which was the general attribute of lounges in other cities.
Perhaps those days it was too easy to get in with almost every CC giving access . Coupled with PPL letting CC card holders to use multiple cards to bring in guests.

Are conditions any better these days?

what happen to ur checked-in luggage? just leave it on the carousel?

If you are terminating at klia, and your bags are not collected, the baggage handlers will take them to one side so the carousel can be used for the next flight..but why would you want to do that?....

If on transit, then no issues, if connecting to a domestic flight, make sure you get to the domestic gate on time...

that means, i need to enter PPl/FC BEFORE passing immigration and collecting luggage...

CIMB sent me 2 PPL coupons along with new CIMB VI 3 months ago that mentioned i need to use this to enter PPL KLIA and PPL Changi Airport. I can't verify this as i have access to OW lounge.
