if i understand you correctly...yes, there is no lounge in the domestic departure airside...

Why Ambank doesnt enforce must provide boarding pass only allow customer enter PPL using their card .. At least after enforce it customer who is really flying only allows to enter PPL to avoid abuse of usage. There is 2 PPL at getaway KLIA 2 that ambank card holder cant access .

The problem lies with ppl itself, not the banks....

With all other airports, the ppls are at airside....so obviously only passengers with boarding passes can use....

But KLIA2 has 2 (now 3) landside lounges which is accessible by non travellers.... although the use of lounges is assumed to be for passengers, people not traveling started to enter the landside lounges and ppl accepts them....of course the more people use, the more money ppl makes from the banks...

The banks can insist customers must show boarding passes, but have no means of enforcing it on ppl...those with limited entries will have their liability capped at the allowed number of times.... Ambank has no cap....

If you use Penang, kk or Kuching, you can use as the lounges are in the domestic airside....

Unfortunately, both KLIA and KLIA2 do not have lounges in the domestic airside....

I think bank should insist customer must show boarding pass for entry to PPL KLIA2 , and if PPL do not co-operate with bank to ask passanger must show boarding pass , PPL will lost one whole bank customer when the bank cut off entry at landside , just like what Ambank is doing now . And i believe more and more bank like Aeon will later on pull off the free entry at PPL landside as well as many people just use the free entries enjoy meals and facilities while waiting for picking up people.

Yes , Ambank has no cap for its signature card level above , but their signature or platinum card still have cap number of entries.

if the landside ppls are located in the domestic airside, there will be none of these issues...unfortunately, whoever designed the airport failed to allocate space for such outlets....same with klia, limited space in domestic, they had to convert the domestic passage into shopping....

meanwhile, they build a huge shopping centre in klia2....lol

their target it seems is not air travellers, but the general public....

Anyway, this is a great thread. Was surfing around and saw this. Question for those M2C Premier holders. I knew the latest T&C stating that supplementary card is not allowed to enter to the lounge for free. BUT has anyone really validated this? Has anyone brought their spouse into any lounge with just a principle card?

PB VS for KLIA2 new Lounge (opposite Aerotel)...was told PB VS can't be used for entry here. Anyone else encountered this issue?

A check on the PB website tnc doesn't state this...but then again the new lounge is not stated as well (probably because it's new)
