i want to ask if there is any card that enables you to enter singapore changi GM? based on my research hsbc visa signature seems to do the trick but is there any alternative?

If you need a CC can provide worldwide lounge access........AMEX platinum charge card or credit card with priority pass bundle.......but annual fee is YES.

Since your travel is not that frequent plus your income is eligible......really hard to recommend for "free annual fee" credit card especially if u plan to use at Thailand airport (so far I din see PPL available in Thailand airport).
You are right, amex plat charge card with no PP and the amex lounges are mostly available at certain areas.  What I want to say if a person can hold the amex plat charge card, his/her choice for long-haul flights may be J/F class seat.  With J/F class, they can use the airlines lounge instead of PPL......just my assumption.

BTW, what is your opinion/recommendation for Sammich! with his scenario?  Thank u.

i guess that is more towards not many is eligible for the card due to the high income requirement? premium plaza lounges in singapore is still pretty good to be honest, just don't go to the ones in malaysia.

not sure if i have been unlucky or what. I have been to KLIA2 GM several times, ordered their chicken dish, and those several visits have been disappointing as I find the chicken has a strong "meaty" smell, and it left a pretty bad aftertaste, maybe the chicken is not fresh or not defrost in a proper manner.

anyway I am not complaining since it is complimentary, it is just that i stopped going to GM and went to PPL instead..

It's a matter of time before more banks remove the landside lounges from their list...too much abuse....

I think ppl/aerotel is shooting itself in their own feet by not being strict with access....if they deligently only allow bone fide passengers with boarding pass to enter, as is the original intention of airport lounges, then banks will be more willing, and it is a real perk... KLIA2 is unique in having landside lounges....

if the landside ppls are located in the domestic airside, there will be none of these issues...unfortunately, whoever designed the airport failed to allocate space for such outlets....same with klia, limited space in domestic, they had to convert the domestic passage into shopping....

meanwhile, they build a huge shopping centre in klia2....lol

their target it seems is not air travellers, but the general public....

I knew the latest T&C stating that supplementary card is not allowed to enter to the lounge for free. BUT has anyone really validated this? Has anyone brought their spouse into any lounge with just a principle card?

Very well - they could be stingier than that too. But they are qualified applicants who doesn't need to pledge any FDs in order to apply for this card, and they would be able to waive the annual fees at ease through their heavy spending.
