Reason being it’s a free AF card, so it’s easier to apply BT without having to worry about AF. There’s no specific BT for this card as BT applies to all HLB cards if there’s any campaign. HLB always has campaigns anyway.

It used to be one of the best cards for retails for airmiles purposes but now it has revision so good for dining only.

my HLB cc that i rarely use just kena unauthorized transaction to blizzard for USD 80.

Means CC details got leaked out.. My most recent transaction is like 6~7 months ago for Zus.. So i believe Zus is the culprit..

CC scam operations can even hit cards which are sitting in drawer unused. The numbers are a predictable pattern.

i understand if brute forcing the 16 digit card number, but you still need to get right the card expiry date and/or CVV as well right..

although 0.00 charge, it means your card is still seen as "active" and accepted the charge (even at 0.00).

Yeah sure, payment gateway for an app that is used consistently by many people daily somehow leaked your card number (and not the card numbers of everyone else including my wife who use it more often than you) specifically.

If the payment gateway is properly coded the merchant gateway CAN'T even leak your details as full details are not saved on their side when using saved card. That's why saved card is actually safer than typing in details every time. Anytime a merchant has 'data leak' of everyone's card number means their developer sucks.
