technically if they announce next week it's still possible that the 20 days will be within next month and they only ask you to spend more and no change in categories. so no planning needed in case that's the argument.

I can't wait for this day to arrive as I can cancel all my wise cards (and all other HL cards) once for all. no need to track all the spending on each cards so to make it as close to 985 as possible.... but I welcome their on n off 30% cash back on dining...

I only want to cancel its Wise as soon as possible. MACH is still useful for me.

The changes supposed to take effect early this year but was postponed due to unknown reason.

Regardless of any sort of changes to WISE card, HLB need to give a prior notice of at least twenty one (21) calendar days to us Cardholders, as per their terms and conditions. The changes can be made effective, only 21 days after the date of announcement. Otherwise, it will not be fair to us.

My AF just charged on 06Aug (RM160 +GST).

If I cancel now, I lost RM100 CB.

I I keep, I pay the AF and get the CB.

if WISE revise the benefits to be worse, then I am basically paying AF for the next whole year for something not so good....

tonytyk mentioned before that can get them to transfer the cash back to your CASA even other banks. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No la, this announcement was up since May actually. We still get cash back for TNB and Syabas, only JomPAY is affected.

It can be credited to CASA. So, I will be cancelling mine soon after receiving July cash back. However, I will check for my August cash back too before I cancel.

All this while, my Wise card is not used for petrol, I didn't use take up this category.
I hardly pump petrol for my own card, if I do, it will be Ikhwan MasterCard + AEON BiG.
