Sorry if this is a little OT, but I don't know where to post it. I utilise my wise card to pay TNB via uobpayonline. I received the tnb bills with new account number, and the overpayment I did previously under the old account number disappeared. I am supposedly have a negative balance but now I need to pay. Does anyone encountered this? Thanks

U should check your Hong Leong Connect whether has all transactions been successful deducted. If yes, is best to call TNB to clarify and check whether they have received your payment.

The transactions are successful as they appeared in my HL Wise statement & also July TNB statement. However, for the TNB statement dated 5 August, it does not reflect my Jumlah Perlu Dibayar correctly @ totally ignore my July 2016 Jumlah Perlu Dibayar which is in negative.

I called TNB today & they told me to call on next Wednesday / Thursday since their system have not updated it yet & they are unable to check it. And warned me not to call on Monday as they are experiencing high calls volume on Monday .. doh.gif

Yes, you can. I also linked my owner's account. smile.gif

Is there a way to register the TNB account in mytnb without the I.C number? For example, I am paying for an account where the bill is not under my name but others' name and I do not know the person. .. hmm.gif

Also, I am trying to register my TNB new account number under Payonline, what does the 'BILL NO.' refers to?

Thanks

I did it via Manage Account. Only account no. is needed.

Bill no. is invoice no., actually that no. is not really important, can simply put in any number. Most important is the account no.

Got it for both, thanks. My balance also updated with the prepayment I made earlier. biggrin.gif

My AF just charged on 06Aug (RM160 +GST).

If I cancel now, I lost RM100 CB.

I I keep, I pay the AF and get the CB.

if WISE revise the benefits to be worse, then I am basically paying AF for the next whole year for something not so good....

Did you ask for waiver?

Do you guys think it works for me if I use wise every 3 months to achieve 2k spending for the rm100 rebate? My expense are particularly TNB & Maxis. No more for petrol as I couldn't pre-pump for 3 months. So I will be getting rm400 per year.
Note: annual fee not an issue, at least for this year.
Thanks

Accumulating bills to acheive is doable...
wont get full CB as in rm100 x 12
but at least still 5% on bills
Another issue is bear in mind any late charges or reconnecting fees tat will impose if the services is cut or block
for tnb i think possible to drag for 2 mth , not sure gt any penalty or nt..
but maxis is base on credit limit...if over credit limit then will block your service...
Overall accumulating 2 mth more safe but 3 mth need to watch out and monitor...
no harm trying...can post result here if successful...
*
Thanks for the advise. Instead of accumulating bills, I'm paying 3 months bill in advance. My current standing for TNB & maxis is negative (over paid). 2k is heavy for me, but there seems no better choice for me ... 😢

I am glad that today, for the first and last time I'm practicing the rm 985 trick learnt from Sifus here to max out the rm 100 rebate, thanks for the lesson.
I believe it is human mentality who will max out (& to release some anger perhaps) the rebate for the last time since the card benefit is suspending - ocbc titanium, Maybank 2cards & followed by hlb wise haha.

For those who use WISE card for more than 1 year and managed to obtain waiver of annual fee by calling CS, do you see the following in your statement and HL Connect?

Annual Fee 6.00% GST  9.60
ANNUAL FEE WAIVER 6.00% GST  9.60 CR
Annual Fee  160.00
ANNUAL FEE WAIVER  160.00 CR

Or, the words "annual fee waiver" will not be shown in your statement and HL Connect?
*
The word WAIVER will not be shown

You misunderstood my post. HL CS submitted my request for annual fee waiver, and I am hopeful that it will be a successful outcome.  smile.gif

My question is directed to those who managed to get annual fee waiver.
So, you did not see the four lines of "ANNUAL FEE WAIVER" in your eStatement, right? If that is the case, we cannot be sure that we get the annual fee waiver, unless we call CS for confirmation.

Some users here reported that HL Bank requires 60 days to process the annual fee waiver. In reality, does it really take that long?
*
Mine is not 4 lines but 2 lines since I requested for waiver after the AF was charged. You would be able to see whether the AF has been waived from your HL Connect upon it being waived while awaiting your statement.
