If one has spending of RM225 for each of the 3 categories and getting CB of rm54, isn't it quite good? I only have Mach, maybe I don't understand.

Don't know why literally all banks have been taken back all the good CB benefits at the same time? This new Wise card is so useless, almost at rubbish tier.

Bank Negara already requested bank to have lower MDR to merchant to encourage more ppl using credit card long time ago.

They have date line to meet it to lowest MDR in nest few years, bank have no choice to reduce benefit in credit card.

Too many restrictions: category, cap per category, weekend, RM500 min spending.
Should just do away with the RM500 min spending.

And merchants will lower the price with lower MDR? I think just look at those hawkers and you know the answer.

In a year, spend RM8100 and get RM525. Equals 6.48%. Better return than M2C. And once again, I thanks BNM for its wonderful Card Payment Reform Framework and all the miracles it has done!

I’m not Wise cardholder, but if the cardholder can hit RM225 spending per category during weekend, still can get RM54 every month..

i think the revised Wise benefits still not terrible. it covers 3 commonly-used categories, rm54 combined cashback for rm675 spend.

the reduced AF is attactive to jump over from SCB biggrin.gif

still thinking on readjusting petrol spend @ scb (revised) vs wise (revised) vs affin-bhp.

only logical is get Wise after affin-bhp ended their 10% promo.

Was hoping Affin BHP card can extend the promo, otherwise, another choice will be Maybank Islamic PETRONAS Ikhwan Visa

HL Wise for petrol only RM225 max spending to get RM18 return, unless monthly petrol is not that high biggrin.gif

if only want card for petrol usage, then maybank petronas is no brainer. no annual fee.

if want to cover also grocery and dining, if citi cashback card not enough to cover, then go ahead to retain HLB wise.

but I rather (weekday + weekend)

dining -> citi cb + cimb cb
petrol -> citi cb + mbb petronas + online voucher
grocery -> citi cb + bigpay + e-wallet

Damn I just got charged SST + AF. With this new terms the card is useless for me as I mainly use it to pay for utilities. Should I void the cash back on the 28th this month so that I can cancel now?

I also thought of this.
When JOP revision 1st come out I was worrying as WISE cover all my petrol expenses.
Now I feel JOP is better to keep. whistling.gif

SCB JOP i planning to do auto billing since TIME has not been payable in any e-wallet yet.

but petrol also a good option for JOP if you don't have any auto billing.

my way : I won't utilize any online cashback card to pay bills online. tongue.gif

Fortunately and unfortunately, we will spend more on Petrol soon.
Around RM2.40/L instead of RM2.08/L.
