My application for Hong Leong Essential Card through Hong Leong Connect have been approved and the card is on delivery process. I've change my mind about this card and don't want it anymore. I've also been charge service tax RM25. Can this charge be waived if i cancel this card or should i just keep it for a year and use it 12 times and cancel it after that? What should i do? Please advise. Thank you.

call cs to cancel it immediately.

ask whether the sst would be reversed since you dont use/activate the card anymore.

i just noticed payonline cannot pay Maxis bill anymore...
can i used maxis app or other path to pay to enjoy 10% cashback?

I got 10% using MaxisPay but my last transaction was in October 2017.

It is a good CC, not difficult to earn back RM25 in 1 year, especially in July (Digital Day)!

then i better check with HLB CS first before i make payment...

u can request to waive the SST for essential card.

can confirm 10% cashback via MaxisPay, reflected in my Jan statement for my Dec tranx. This month should be the same.

HLB Wise cashback quota refresh date is follow statement date or 1st of every month?

CB based on Posted transactions 1/1 to 31/1 (calendar month), credited on 28/2.

Paying tnb bills through mytnb (computer) using HL wise is eligible for 10% cashback if my chosen category is utilities? Anyone tried before? So far i only been using uobpayonline to pay for tnb bills.

Currently i am looking for alternative method just in case uobpayonline decides to terminate tnb payment.
