I have paid on 10th as well, the notice was just up yesterday and only effective yesterday for Klang Valley's outlets. Penang already started on 10th, a day earlier.

I have 7k+, redeemed RM 30 vouchers, so I managed to accumulate 10k+ in total.

Not sure if you can call to cancel on 29th Aug, right after the cash back for July is in your pocket ? Will they able to cancel your card before annual fee posted on 31 Aug ?
But all tx done in August will gain no cash back anyway...

Definitely, They will charge the AF on your Statement Date...

At first, I thought still can hold until September because there are few feedback, some said charged on approval date, some said 1st of the month.

I never bothered about UOBpayonline with WISE kad before this.

Can someone enlighten me. Since no more Sam's, to maximize cashback for bill payment, should I be changing to utilities category and pay my TNB/TM bills via UOBpayonline?

Wise's Utilities category is only for TNB and water (I was told only Syabas) via UOBPayOnline. Others are not.

Yes, you are right. I opted for utilities categories and pay all my TNB and Syabas via UOB Pay Online to get the 10%.

Syarikat Air Darul Aman (SADA) is also considered as utitlity if paid via Maybank2u.

TNB and Syabas have no issues but not sure about other water companies.

Most probably it will be after anniversary date. I have 2 cards here. My card anniversary is June 2013 and they just recently charge AF on 01 Aug. My missus card anniversary is Nov 2013 and last year her AF was charged on 01 Dec 2015.

tm, tnb, astro can use online card PBB VS and VOX if you have.

Do you get cash back for government payments (DBKL , MPKJ) if i use the HLB Essential card?

anybody who applied in august 2015 got charged af in your latest statement? my card was approved in august but didnt receive the card until late september. should i ask them to defer the af until next month?
