I tried to activate the new Wise card, pin & pay with paywave function using SMS, received the temporary pin, went to HL Connect, selected change pin and straight away it asks for new pin, so what is the point of receiving the temporary pin?

Considering you can change the pin online then it is ok lo. No need to go to ATM to change it

Any of you ever swiped at a Restaurant in a Hotel and had your dining cashback rejected? I just swiped over the weekend and upon checking my transaction, it states the name of the hotel instead of the restaurant. Will be calling tonight to confirm the Merchant Code.

In the event the Merchant Code is not dining, has anyone of you succesfully argued for it to be reversed? I still have the receipt and everything.

Since the rebate is given based on the merchant code, then the is no point of arguing with the CS. You may check the merchant code with them first. Also from the Mach CC thread and MCC thread there are lists of restaurants which are under dining and not. Do update us once you know the merchant code too.

I think chances are slim to none. The bank will blame the merchant and saying that they don't have the control over mcc/terminal requested by the merchant.

Do check on the mcc first with cs anyway.

For the 30% weekend dining cashback, it seems that the quota will be finished by lunch time or brunch time. So far I managed to get rebate for breakfast only, due to the RM5k cashback allocation

Just wondering, can we call in to cs to increase supp card credit limit? Or is it necessary to walk in to branch to do that 😫

my latest 30% dining cb was contributed from McD's using mach+paywave on Saturday night

Nope, that was for previous promo, the current promo has the same quota for both Sat & Sun.
