Ya ya the binn binn is loud, just that the tone of the sound is like motor horn sound... don't sound so convincing to me... like the car suddenly become so chaplang... even Proton are often labelled to be chaplang to begin with sweat.gif

I used the twin snail horn of bosch on my Iswara, and that's a good tone to me laugh.gif
Just not sure how likely I'm going to void my warranty for changing the horn sad.gif

If void warranty , only on the horn portion , not the whole car right ?

Both my front wheel's rim cap got stolen. Noticed it a few days before my first service, since I got it barely more than two weeks I decided to replaced them. RM50 burnt...
Also is it normal for the brake disc to rust so much? Became like this when I left the car idle for only 2 days. Most of the rust will disappear when I drive the car.
The rust seemed to only occurs on the 2 front wheels.

Hello there i have been driving mine for 700km now. Getting ready for first service. Here are the issues i have encountered so far for my standard auto CVT.

1) Dashboard rattling. Relieved when I knew from this thread that it is common and fixable.
2) Delay in acceleration padding from idle. Trivial but important especially when i really need to pick up from near-collide events, to avoid cars etc.
3) Air-cond noises are very frequent and loud. Like every 10 seconds of driving. Yes 10 sec. Sounds like liquid flushing through a pipe inside the front door through the engine front. At first this noise is very minimal but as i drive more this gets worst. Even the passengers behind asking me is the car okay. Anyone experienced this?

Other than these 3, the driving has been a pleasure with this car. Also, will car tinting get my 3 year free service void?

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks!

Is ur dashboard rattling obvious? If it is obvious then it is easier for them to fix. I have dashboard rattling before servicing. but not very 100% all the time. I need to bring the staff round round then only can let him determine which part making noise.
Tinting wont void ur free service, there's many of us tint our cars when we first get the car. Even a lot of SA offer tinting voucher to their customers.

Anyone of you personally see SA fix the dashboard rattling problem? By putting sponge/padding? Or...?

Just wondering if this we could even DIY pads them ourselves

I had the exact same problem, the sound is very noticeable when you set the fan speed at 1.
It sounded like someone breath through their nose really hard for about 5 seconds. Forgot to tell the service personnel during my first car service.
Anyone had brought up this issue at the workshop? Curious what the mechanic has to say.

By the way, anyone know how the Hill hold assist works? I read from manual it says require certain steepness to activate, I tried with some quite steep Hill at stop, but it does not brake for me after I release brake pedal...

Other than that, there were twice I need to crank the second try to be able to start the car... Anyone experiencing this as well?

The dashboard rattling problem maybe was due to they cant fix the passenger side dashboard too tight for the airbag to activate when necessary.

The hill assist activated when u stop at uneven road, after u lepas the brake it will hold 1~2 sec to prevent the car to roll. That's why sometime u will feel the delay when u press the gas pedal.

The aircond sound quite noisy but acceptable not to compare with over 100k car, if u owned a perodua car before, open the aircond to the max and that's the example of unacceptable noise level.

Love the medal grey color of the rim but it's quite soft and easy to get scratch, kena rock abit and it will looks very ugly. But can buy cheap similar color touch up pen online to cover back.
