New std cvt dark grey owner, thumbs up on my 6km bumpy road back from the showroom. Price vs value this car is a real steal against those 80k japanese car. No I dont think she will goes 200km/h++ , she is a polite car.

Nice car. Would u use Petronas 7000 in every services??
*
If I can choose I'll prefer the shell helix ultra buying from tesco. Yes I will topup to fully syntetic oil when 1k service since got the free maintainence. The silver color premium are the most selling variant at the moment according to the salesman. My friend car have to wait for stock ariive from tanjung malim plant..

It's should be 49.43km/2.05 = 24.112 liter used
thus 293.4 km / 24.112 liter = 12.17km per liter or 17 cents per km.

Average not too high but also not very safe fuel consumption.
My meter shown average 10.1L/100km when i took my car from the showroom. Drop to 8.7L/100km today after arriving office. Most of the time eco light on, im well trained becoz my previous persona se was a real fuel sucker if i heavy footed.

Anyway saw a bezza cruising around 90km/h on the middle lane of the highway, purposely accelerates to overtake from the left..hehe

so, old persona vs new persona? same fuel consumption or not?
*
Slightly saver than the old persona, full tank ran almost the same milleage but the new persona is 40liter vs old persona 50liter.

Even the standard variant had packed with basic soundproof. The car is very quiet until u goes up to 90km/h above at the highway then wind noise will covered the sound of the radio. U must put the volume to 20++ then or else u cant hear the radio clearly.

Ya, it has been annoying me since I just heard of Persona 2016 two days ago... In a dilemma now.
*
The honda city still had the better engine, Cvt and outlook comparing to persona bro. And u r enjoying the pride of driving a Honda brand. If u already bought the car then no regrets. Just that if u haven't then u may consider to choose the persona because of the super value pricing.

Vios and city are both good cars can last over 10 years if u follow the service schedule. But u have to buy at least E specs and that's 83k ++. Im a 2 weeks new persona r std cvt owner upgraded from 8 years old persona se. Well the proton car, 6 years above various parts have to be changed : driveshaft, engine mounting, suspensions..etc. The killing parts was the fuel consumptions when traffic jam. Good news are the new persona have a improved fuel efficiency, around rm55 full tank can get over 400km++ city drive.

My std cvt persona fuel consumptions 13km/L 30% highway 70% city, light footed not exceed 120km/hr. Saw a gloss polish red at old klang road this morning drive by lenglui driver. Its stunning cool! Sorry to condemn but if compare with the new persona, the myvi 1.5 similar pricing was a real joke. The new persona is a fun to drive city car and i think it will flooded the klang valley traffic in the coming few months.

Better than Bezza vs Persona
*
Sorry not intend to condemn the Perodua car as im a ex perodua car owner and had good experiences with my first car, but it's because the pricing are similar :
Myvi 1.5 SE : RM 53,368.50 Persona Exec : RM 55,800.00
Myvi 1.5 advanced : 58,368.50 Persona Premium : RM 59,800.00

Is not a versus but a choice. The package offers vs the pricing made the myvi looks 'quite expensive'.

anyone with persona standard model?
do you go to fix speaker for front as it only come with 2 speaker at back. will it consider void warranty?
*
The standard variant got only two midrange blaupunkt speaker at the front door but the backdoor got the empty slot ready. If u want to upgrade, u need to at least change a 4 channel output head unit, 1 pairs of 3 ways speakers. An oem female socket to connect the new head unit without cutting the wire to avoid the warranty void. Including the installations it will be around rm600 already.
Recommended a 6.2 inch double din branded player with lcd screen, 1 set of component set speaker in front, 1 pair of 3 ways speakers behind + reverse camera whole set upgrade around rm 1500 or else just leave it. The persona comes with decent soundproof and it's worth to upgrade the sound system if u like the music.

The standard stock rim are actually not bad, the gundam color can tahan dirts. Yes the tires are a bit small that plenty space to fit in bigger roll. Options to upgrade to the popular 195/55 r15 for better grip or 185/60 r15 for more comfort ride if u dun wan to ditch out too much money to change the whole set.

Damn my car was supposed to be delivered this week and the lorry was supposed to reach my dealer yesterday. but until today also no news. Made an appointment with Raytech but have to cancel thinking I could receive my car. sad.gif
*
Even your car reach, you still need to wait until next week because the jpj close weekend and sunday public holiday ganti monday. Known the anxious feeling to get the new car just like me last time. Just patient a bit bro..
The persona are getting more on the road ady, saw three on the way back this afternoon. You will have some regret feeling like: wow that color so nice! Why didn't I choose the color...But never seen a single white color yet on the road..
Anyway congrats to all the bro who booked the car before yesterday. The free maintainences offer are the big offer deals that u could safe up to 2.5k service fees.

Car registered and documents ready long ago bro. Booked the car when it was launched and all i hear is delays. 😅
*
Your sa told u that? U cant register your car without knowing the engine and chasis number yet mah..anyway r u choosing the silver color which are the popular choice? My std dark grey ady two weeks old booked 1 week after launched and got the car two weeks after. Car ready after 1 week after but have to wait 1 more week due to tak sempat register waiting ncd transfer by friday and the hari malaysia holiday on monday. Tuesday got insurance registered still need to wait next day to get the car because the sa needs to get the car ready..checking, washing, put number plate..etc.
If the tint shop very near the dealer, u may ask your sa to help sent your car to tint before u collect your car. After tinted, two days u cant turn the windows down and 1 weeks u cant turn on the heater. Im also using raytech.

Just received my new persona premium. Very happy with it. But got 1 issue where after a cold start, if i on the aircond, got sound like brrrrr brrrr 2 times. Anybody got this issue? Definitely will bring up this issue during 1000km service.
*
I also feel need to rev hard to go out from my aparment cerun exit if the engine not heat up yet. Upgrade to a fully syntetic oil with 0w or 5w viscosity infront when u do your 1k service. Find a fc using shell oil, I upgraded to shell helix ultra 5w 40 for rm120 free toolbox 10k interval.

Does it mean i nid to send my car to SC?but it jus reached 500km mileage, tis shown whn the car is idling , anyone experience tis before?
*
I think they programmed the notice once reach 500km. The sc will help u to reset after the 1k service. The free service will include the syntium 800 semi syntetic not like iriz just give mach 5 that u need to pay to upgrade. The syntium 800 can last 10k interval while the mach 5 only 5k. Noticed the proton sc had improved a lot after never visit them quite sometime. If can convenient go early weekdays, go for the proton edar branch sc to get the top notch service. The small authorised sc cant solve your car problems professionally and urge u to add something useless like x1r or screen wash. From my experiences, the puchong jaya sc is the best followed by the chan sow lin branch.

For my persona the SC give mach 5 instead of syntium 800..on the day i sent my car for 1K service still dont know proton offer syntium 800..the proton car FB also just reply me today to confirm they use syntium..now what to do?
*
Try to ask and complain to the sc u did the service see whether what they can offer to ganti your rugi. If cannot claim then wait for next service 6k km lo. Better go to a big proton edar branch sc next time. IMO they provide only 3 times free engine oil only, the forth times u need to pay yourself.

The service advisor that i went service 1k told me so pointing at the service booklet. Not really sure true or not as 3years 60,000km free service will consist 7 times of oil changes if u manage to reach the milleage within.
According to the manual book it stated engine oil 10w-30 or higher rate, im using shell helix 5w-40 top up rm120 from syntium 800 10w-40. After oil changed feel the car more power and smoother when going slow (less jerking). When i stepped the pedal deeper to raise the rpm around 4k the car will raise from 40km/hr to 120km/hr in a few secs. But the average fuel consumptions has jump from 7.7l/100km to 8.6l/100km. blink.gif Before this i fuel up max rm55 shell 95 can run around 430km before the fuel up indicator lights up. I think my next fuel up will be over rm60 as fuel naik harga ady.

Is the Puchong Jaya SC you mention locate next to the Nissan SC?
*
Yes beside nissan factory area easy to find parking, Im actually quite far from this sc but I trusted them since with my old persona and working nearby lastime. What happened was my old persona had "tak tak" sound and sluggish when driving slow, others sc said it was nothing and normal. Coincidencely I send my car there for service, Im not even tell them the problem but they said my car iafm got problem and help me to replace it. Since then I will send my car there if having some major problems.

Some salesman said no need as 1k the oil not dirty yet and maybe it's true as i saw the oil drained out still brown visibility color. Some salesman said need because the car was manufactured quite some time before deliver and there are a lots of metal residues came outs from a new engine. But if service not changing oil then nothing to do ady as i saw mine just change oil and check tyre pressure only.
