Any idea if Proton will extend the free services to bookings after Sept 30th?

I'm thinking to place booking after then....
*
In my opinion, it won't extend as the Persona is pretty good selling...
but in future I think it will have such promo again like what they did on Iriz... who knows

Anyone tried measuring the speed against the GPS? took mine for a ride with an apps open measuring the speed. Speedo shown 110KM/h but in GPS shown 105KM/H, is there anyway to measure it correctly?
*
I've experience the same issue with newer proton models. Iriz, persona iafm, saga flx and even bmw 3 series! However my iswara and myvi is showing accurate speed reading when checked with GPS

Kuwait finance requirement is it high compared to mainstream Maybank, Public bank, CIMB etc?

And how we can transfer NCD from old car? the old car owner must same name with new car owner?

Someone i know is getting a Persona this week.
Anything i should assist to check for when receiving the car?

Thanks.

Kasi donut 1

Usually there will be a check list during collection... so far from my observation in this thread, seems like nothing need to take extra precaution during collection thou... may try some well known issue in Iriz like using the screen washer for an extended period to see if the hose would disconnect?

ok. I had my persona for a month now.
Already went to 5k km service.

This week I travelled almost 400km to work.
Rm60 of ron95, at the end of the week left a blinking bar.

Manual calculation
400km with 100% city drive
RM60 = 33.33 Ron95
12l/km = 8.33l/100km

Auto calculation based on meter
6.6l/100km

It seems like the value is not accurate thou, quite disappointed haha. but one thing to point out that is I reset the meter 2 weeks ago la.

But all in all, quite OK with the fuel consumption, one week RM60 (RM1.80/L Ron95) for me is ok la. Hope November can down the ron95 price to RM1.6 biggrin.gif
*
12km/l for 100% city drive is quite good tbh, in Bezza thread people are hitting this figure too in 100% city drive...

may I know your average speed at city drive? is it involve alot of traffic jam?

I need to encounter around 8 traffic light , and half of them causes quite a jam. Average speed like 60-70km/h, 80% of the time the speed is with echo indicator on.
How about urs?

Both front and back are 6.5 inch, do not buy chapalang brand that the magnet was too big later your window glass will be blocked and cannot wind down. U can add a speaker spacer if kena a bit but only thin type or else your door panel cant be closed completely. Get pioneer or kenwood component set speaker for the front and 3 way speaker for the back if u want to change.
*
That part of looking for smaller magnet was for front speaker or rear so it won't block the power windows...

I do consider adding 2 rear speaker... but from what you've said it seems like I have to fork out a lot for the HU at once too..

I think the inaccurate FC reading is related to the innacurate speedo where it shows faster km/h than actual speed, and that speed data is being used by the calculator to calculate the fc, hence the differences tongue.gif

Both front and rear space are almost the same. The rear speaker is not important for the driver. Its ok to just add a pair 3 way speaker by shift the stock speaker to the back. Test hear first if not enough then upgrade later. Playing ICE is like poison, once u are into it there are plenty to invest like amps, soundproof..
*
Yes.. ICE is poisoning... I do agree with you. The poison could melt a big hole in your wallet and after sometime you'll crave for even more..

The high front seat of Persona could easily fit in an active sub as well brows.gif

For rear speaker how do you think if fitting in a 6x9 speaker behind rear seat facing up? I do find speaker on rear door don't produce good surround output... how do you think?
