I think they programmed the notice once reach 500km. The sc will help u to reset after the 1k service. The free service will include the syntium 800 semi syntetic not like iriz just give mach 5 that u need to pay to upgrade. The syntium 800 can last 10k interval while the mach 5 only 5k. Noticed the proton sc had improved a lot after never visit them quite sometime. If can convenient go early weekdays, go for the proton edar branch sc to get the top notch service. The small authorised sc cant solve your car problems professionally and urge u to add something useless like x1r or screen wash. From my experiences, the puchong jaya sc is the best followed by the chan sow lin branch.

I did another layer of 6mil tint on top of it, no issue with power window, still very smooth.

I've got my car for 3 weeks now clocking 750km, some of the issues that im facing
- rattling sound from dashboard (It's actually the car meter panel and headunit pannel, once u push it then it will be quiet.)
- incorrect petrol remaining meter. 1st time i pump full tank after getting my car it state 400km, acceptable but 2nd time i pump it state 600km and yesterday i pump was 700km.. wtf
- knocking sound @ back / boot area. although it could be things i put behind but almost impossible as it's just bags and it sounds like metal knocking
- Loud aircon noise, when driving do you notice the fan intake sound every 3/5 seconds? it's so annoying even on idle
- can hear radiator fan spinning down clearly in the car after i turn off my engine
- Periodic inspection sign come out after 500km mileage

anyone having similar issue? going to glenmarie SC to have it checked next week

It is syntium 800..I already kena mineral Mach 5..next week going to SC for changing oil again to syntium 800..
If they said mineral please asked them to refer proton again..u can refer my case..

Make sure with SC that they will use the syntium 800 for engine oil for this free service offer..others just follow their procedure and if u got complain about rattling sound also free..i have asked them to fix mine also during 1k service but it last for 2 days only and the sound come again..will asked them to fix again next week..just make sure u send early morning so they have enough time to fix ur car..appoinment is better so can reserve the mechanic for u..

What's your road coverage? Which area?

Same like mine, around 15KM/l ~15.5KM/l for a mixed driving, 40% city 60% highway. FC is consider great though for a proton. My Saga BLM even only manage 13 KM/

Went to SC for 1k km service. Mentioned the dashboard rattle to the staff, drive the car with him and he said that that's dashboard rattle. He claimed that it is the sound from the air bag compartment. He said they have no solution to solve that rattle sound at the air bag compartment. So damn annoying dafuq.

Do you have rattle issue?
I complain to their manager inside the office with a serious face although my face isn't haha. He said he will check for me. After an hour, he said the sound is from the loose crew at beneath the dashboard. Tighten the screw and add padding. No more sound. Thanks god. There is a free car wash after the service, and I was shocked that they said they wash my car d yet my car still dirty lol. Btw I top up another rm120 for fully synthetic engine oil as the package engine oil is meant for 5k km only

What happen to your car?

Unlucky man, probably the engine oil is leaking. Better to happened this at home rather at tengah jalan, if not rather susah. Did they solve it in 1 day or need to wait couple day? did they provide courtesy car for you?

How could this happen? Loosed nuts or oil filter? Fortunately u discover early.. This is very serious as like my colleague's gen 2 last time, the gaskets inside burned as the engine oil ady leaked half empty when his car breakdown at the middle of the road because of the loosen drain nuts.

I think this is the second case if engine oil leak. Read from somewhere in facebook, their persona also have leaking. Mine is running great after 1k service, infact far more quieter than before.

Discounts or price cut should be give to the Exec variant. I would choose the exec variant if the price are around 52k. But its 6k more than my standard, the missing parts that i want are the front fog lamp only which i can install aftermarket for not more than 300 bucks. But then the aftermarket installations wiring may not as tidy as the factory install.

For adding the front fog lamp, is there already wires and buttons available? or we have to do wiring and add another button for this?

Did you Topup for the full synthetic engine oil or stay with the syntium 800?

When i changed my hu time, the acc shop offer me rm 280 for the oem fog lamp plus installations. Its the whole set including the wiring and button, i didn't take becoz there are not place for the button as the slot beside the start button already taken by the headlamp high low adjusting switch. Unless u want to saw a hole at the circle start button slot which is not nice. I suggest how about install the switch at the last center switch which is not used but the guy said is difficult to mod as the center switch come in set and already with fix harness connector.

The auto folding side mirror..yes that's why peoples are either choosing the standard for cheap price or the premium for complete specs. I dun choose the premium becoz it's 10k gap and i dun need 6 airbags.

What i want to add at my standard cvt:

- Front fog lamp - Seldom turn on when i drove my old persona se, but sometimes useful when very dark and rainning condition..and when your headlamp not enought bright after 5 years. If not add feel like missing something..

- The audio system - Standard only comes with 2 small magnet mid speakers at the front door. When u drive 80km/hr above at the highway, hardly to hear what the radio dj saying even u turn the volume 25++.

- Leather seat - I budget around 1.5k for half leather, easier to clean and keep your interior tidy. But the black fabric are not bad at all, the old persona fabric with bunga bunga corak cannot except.

As some rumor saying that 2017 budget gov will give some special for first time local brand (proton & perodua )car buyer that they will able to enjoy a excise duty free car .  some of my customer also keep asking me either to wait or not . i just get information from my boss regarding the excise duty amount ,
