Persona brake problem?
Guys I got my car 2 days ago, but has only really driving it today as I'm working outside KL. I have this weird brake problem and I wonder if anyone has experienced this. While driving on the highway, I had to do an emergency brake, I am well below 80kmh so I don't think it activated the brake assist or ABS as I didn't skid. After that I immediately realized that I can't accelerate, even when I step on it with 3k rpm I'm still going below 40kmh (impatient Malaysian drivers cutting and giving me looks ) Few minutes later I found out my handbrake indicator is ON, but my handbrake is down and I never use it during the emergency brake. And only a few moments later, I found out that my brake pedal seemed to be stuck. I have to "pull" it back up with my feet. Everything works fine after that. I try check around the pedal, I don't see anything obstructing it, just really greasy parts. Called my SA, he have no idea what happened and told me to visit the service centre. I was unable to recreate the problem, tried hard braking (when stationary) everything seems to work just fine. I thought it might be because of new car and new parts (wishful thinking), but the lit handbrake indicator worries me a bit. Does any sifu has any advice? Should I take half a day off from work to visit the service centre tomorrow as suggested? Any insight or advice is greatly appreciated!

I use RE002 on my saga for almost 4 yrs, thread is still there, think can tahan 1 more yrs, but very noisy oledi...Last time b4 come to sabah travel alot Penang - Kedah - Perak...come KK sabah less travel by car...

Any science on refuel before yellow light on for better saving? I always fill up full tank on weekend (cos card got rebate on weekend) so usually left 3 bars or 4 bars...got a friend said if we refuel to full tank will not fuel saving compare not refuel till full tank...I usually refuel early morning 7am before go pasar or 7pm after work...cos some said also refuel during hot afternoon, fuel evaporate faster..

Both my front wheel's rim cap got stolen. Noticed it a few days before my first service, since I got it barely more than two weeks I decided to replaced them. RM50 burnt...
Also is it normal for the brake disc to rust so much? Became like this when I left the car idle for only 2 days. Most of the rust will disappear when I drive the car.
The rust seemed to only occurs on the 2 front wheels.

Guys, the oil stain near Timing Belt cover is due to what issue?

Gasket on top and bottom of the engine also fix before. 

Anyone can share the experience?

Should I back to Proton or normal workshop? Less than 20k after change Timing belt last year!

Is it true?? Not entitle for the free service and part even booked before 30 sept??

Went for first service on 2/12 at HQ, issues including
1. Dashboard rattling
2. Radio volume high and low

Collected car on 6/12
1. I/P kit added in dashboard. Rattling solved
2. Reset radio system. Problem still there. They claimed it's the frequency of radio stations not accurate at certain areas and cause the problem.
3. Engine oil used is the new Syntium 800 SE. FOC also, 3 yrs free service and labour.

I wanna solve the radio issue, can I go to another service centre and claim warranty? Or must I wait for the 10k service? If I remember, someone claim a new antenna and problem solved.

One good thing they did is, they hide my dashcam cable into the A pillar and doorstep, which I didn't ask them to do it. A proactive move.

Does anyone know how to activate wifi while driving? My infotainment system, even i stopped a car and handbrake activated or engine stopped (only point to ACC status), the wifi doesn't connecting. Wifi message comes out say something like "You cannot connect wifi while driving"...

I have asked to SC, they seems not know how to solve. They reply me we are here priority to solve a car of parts. Infotainment System Not Include? They doesn't know about Android. Means, they are no study or training about the Infotainment System in Proton?

Now Proton have free 1 Year YES wifi to me. But i unable to use. So, what for they free this? Useless. I read previously message, Waze also cannot use if you installed because of wifi disable while driving. hahaha, Are You KIDDING me?

Guys I experience something weird.

When I was on Highway I was keeping pressure on my accelerator, supposely it will maintain speed or accelerate. But at one point the car suddenly like slow down decelerating. I was so panic, even if I press harder on accelerator also keep dropping speed. Then I release the pressure and reapply pressure back. Then only everything back to normal. =.=ll

Any advice?
