guys for full tank how many km on average can you guys go ?
is 650km a good figure.

done 1k km with the car.
so far im fully satisfied.
only downside is road noise.
perhaps at this price range the N-vh is mediocre at best.
mine is basic specs , perhaps full specs owner can share if their sound insulation is better.
*
650km per full tank is kinda good. mine is 550 per full tank. city drive 75% of the time. if highway drive. i managed to do KL-Perlis-penang per full tank. super satisfied. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

the road noise will be compensated with the audio system and its handling. you will get used to it in 3 months time. . have you tried EDM in the car? you can have pre party session inside this car. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

new honda civic's handling is nothing compared to M3. worth every penny bought this car rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

I understand, for some people, buying a car has an emotional dimension. And being emotional, sometimes certain flaws get amplified in our minds/heart.

How much we hope that you join our camp, if it really bothers you very much, look for other cars. Because you'll be stuck with the car for years, always feeling disturbed by a particular aspect, and being burdened on loan for something you don't fancy is just an unnecessary added emotional stress.
*
Thank you for your understanding and words of wisdom bro.😂

NVH insulation for basic and full specs are the same. For GVC model the insulation is better than pre-GVC model.

Wow I can only reach 400km plus with full tank. hmm.gif

But those car purist will always look down on Mazda. I kena hentam for buying Mazda 3 instead of Civic lolzz. But since I don't talk car language I can't really defend. Personally I feel M3 has the best looking interiors amongst the rest of the cars in the same series.

Having less M3 on the road makes my car feels a bit more premium instead of some mass produced products laugh.gif

mine 50-60% city drive. highway cruising around 140-160.
but the the fuel gauge bar cannot be trusted. at least on my car.
the first 4 mini bars took quite some time to deplete. as if its really fuel saving.
but after pass the quarter tank its more accurate with your milleage.
but the milleage range is quite accurate.

Got any photo of the gap? Other owners here can help to determine if they are normal.

If the sound comes back go back to SC and insist they replace. Don't let the SC keep saying it is normal, normal, normal but once warranty expire then ask you to replace. I'm not saying Mazda SC does this but I know it happens with some SCs of other makes.

Try repair first. If can't solve by repair then only insist on replace.

It's a very close up view so in real life it may not be as bad as it looks in the photo. If the SC won't fix it I would just accept it.

And pre-skyactiv, is the 1.6 variant underpowered?
How about the handling for pre-skyactiv

Thanks

try RON97 for a few consecutive times. since it's a high compression engine (14:1), why not fully utilize its capacity biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

do give me the feedback regarding the FC.

oh btw my parents disliked the idea of me getting a M3. after driving it for a few times, they couldn't find anything to complain other than leg rooms (who cares? im not marrying anyone soon). it takes time for us malaysians to trust other non conventional brands. especially old people.

Labuan don't have RON 97 if not i already pump everyday cry.gif laugh.gif

FC for me it's still considered very much improved as I moved down from a Proton Exora where RM100 of fuel gives me 400km but now the M3 gives me 400km at RM80. of course don't factor the price of the car in lah lol.

haha leg room still ok la. even if got baby, not like your kid will outgrow the leg room within 4-5 years. Also M3 the chairs can move down for more luggage space. Civic macam cannot IIRC.

Less popular brands means there's also less waiting time to do your car service. Really hate it when I need to book an appointment months in advance to do car service.

rm80 for 400km is on the high side. This is about 10L/100km. I can get 500km easily for rm80. Are you on 100% town driving?

Mazda has very good engineering design to allow use of lower octane fuel for its super high compression engine. Other cars with such compression ratio would require high RON fuels.

Mazda engineers were very smart to ensure that their customers no need to waste money on RON97. So I dunno why u would want to waste your money. Higher RON doesnt improve performance.

the engine can take in 95 and 97, there are owners feedback that 97 give better acceleration and smoother engine

of course no harm putting 95 if dont have budget for 97, i pump 95 since the day i get my car and no issue with knocking at all

Perhaps this is a new car thing..? hmm.gif Yes about 9.5L/100km based on the reading. Yes 100% town driving but there are a lot of slopes that I have to pass by when going to work and back. Guessing this is one of the factors... Will ask SC on this haha
