Thanks for the tip. Will try it out. My car currently doesn't have any tint so it can get really warm at times sweat.gif

Maybe you can consider Agard tint when you're shopping for tints.

The newer line seems quite good. Website for your reference : http://www.agard.com.my/#

Hi all,

Just wanna rant abit disappointingly.
TBH I was looking to purchase a new car in the upcoming few months and have shortlisted 2 models them being the infamous civic x and Mazda 3. Started as one of the fence sitter and slightly interested towards the mazda3, I was waiting for this new model to hit the road to for me to compare. While the civic x is flooding on the road I still see no sign of the new Mazda 3 until today and it was the grey color model. And man I am disappointed. I really liked the interior and other specs of the car, and the only downfall for me is the new lights and DRL which is worst compared to the previous model and comparingly to their siblings the cx3 and even mazda2. They look weird when turned on as the new circle drl looked like an after market mod and not as bright as the rest. Such a turn off. Sigh. However this is my first sighting of the new Mazda 3 and maybe today's weather was abit gloomy therefore affected their optimum looks and brightness. Am looking forward to see more and compare again. Hopefully by that time I can come to accept it and join the proud owners here. *Sobbing away quietly* 😭

I heard the free service they use Semi instead of fully engine oil for Mazda 3 right? Can I request to topup to get fully? I ask here because every Salesman also give different answer lol.

To me it's bright enough and they are gorgeous!
I've not seen any new model on the road too but saw a lot in SG.

Yes, the SC will happily oblige. Just tell the service adviser you want fully synthetic engine oil and they will advise you how much to top up.

i think you're probably the first one who said so, in certain angle the DRL doesn't look as good as the non-gvc model, but at night time i would say the GVC DRL really win with that fierce look when view from front wub.gif wub.gif

for sure the DRL of other facelift model look gorgeous, but nevertheless, both look way better than the one on civic laugh.gif

and not to mention that the foglight of GVC mode is LED, way brighter and really light up the road unlike the stock foglight on pre-facelift

As for the performance, anyone actually tried with your friend's Civic 1.5T/ Focus 1.5 Ecoboost/ Altis 2.0 etc?(Not race la, sometime tekan tekan haha). Just wondering will it huge different from the latest Civic 1.5.

Turbo will be faster at straight line but civic has limited top speed at 207, our car can go up to 220 so we will eventually catch up if the road long enough laugh.gif , altis no need fight la, m3 can overtake it easily

Not sure about focus but handling wise our m3 is way better than civic and altis

Are you perhaps staying in Subang ?
The car I saw was probably yours if you do stay there. πŸ˜‚

Hmm maybe it's just the DRL is not as attractive or comparable to the mazda2 and cx3 hence my disappointment. When I was looking at the new gvc from my rear mirror, the circle drl looks faint and abit like the previous Bmw e36/e92 angel light. If only the circle drl is split into few section and bright like the mazda2 and cx3 then it's perfect.

Well I still think we need to see more of them on the road to justify. Maybe the angle I saw wasn't the best

Not me, very far from subang, lol
But then the DRL shouldn't be a show stopper for not getting a a Mazda 3,my 2 cents.

I understand, for some people, buying a car has an emotional dimension. And being emotional, sometimes certain flaws get amplified in our minds/heart.

How much we hope that you join our camp, if it really bothers you very much, look for other cars. Because you'll be stuck with the car for years, always feeling disturbed by a particular aspect, and being burdened on loan for something you don't fancy is just an unnecessary added emotional stress.

As an owner m3 2016...due to big discounts. I can say I love driving the car..the car is driver centric..the seats firm n fabulous...ride is nice, planted, power was sufficient n nothing much to complain about..

Different user different needs... T n H...build s gtest car but Mazda give u a different option. Test all...n decide...

guys for full tank how many km on average can you guys go ?
is 650km a good figure.

done 1k km with the car.
so far im fully satisfied.
only downside is road noise.
perhaps at this price range the N-vh is mediocre at best.
mine is basic specs , perhaps full specs owner can share if their sound insulation is better.
