Which one is better or you prefer?

My understanding all Q85 EFB battery are 620CCA rated (somehow GS Power Thailand OEM for Mazda is rated 520CCA). Meaning the battery guarantee minimum CCA 620 but in actual some do have 700 ~ 800CCA. My choice of Q85 EFB battery is mainly based on how long the warranty (12~24 months). So far Amaron Pro warranty is 24 months. This is why our M3SA club ultimate choice is Amaron Pro 90D23L.

Few days ago I was with one of the workshop selling car battery. He is in this Lowyat.net forum. According to his findings, our iStop stop functioning when our Q85 EFB battery dip below 470CCA. So my assumption is once battery performance depleted to below 470CCA, this is the time to change new battery. The short life of Q85 battery is due to lead plates build very close to each other for faster charging n discharging required by istop function.
So better buy the Q85 EFB with higher CCA possible and to maintain longer battery life, always fully charged the battery often (even long distance travel, our car alternator still unable to fully charged our battery) using a reputable car battery charger. Another option is install a voltage stabilizer/enhancer to boost the CCA value n less burden to battery.

Your experience shows that the GVC model does have SBS. How it works is that it will give you warning to brake if the rate of approach to the car in front is too fast. If you still don't brake it will brake for you to reduce the severity of the collision not to avoid a collision.

SCBS is another system which brakes completely to avoid a collision but it only works up to 30 km/h if I'm not mistaken.

Hmm I just read the in car manual, I'm still puzzled whether it brakes by itself or not.

There's advanced smart city brake support and smart city brake support (forward) both work from 4-80km/hr, advanced brakes itself, scbs forward is only collision warning, braking at 4-30km/h

I've experienced the forward collision warning but who knows which one it is, no one would dare to try if it'll brake by itself or not!

I believe the GVC model comes with Advanced SCBS since myself also experienced the BRAKE warning sign at the speed of 70+km/h.
From what I read in the manual, both Advanced SCBS and SCBS forward working exactly the same.

guys is it true that the best SC is sg.besi.
thinking of sending my car there.

my brake noise is still not solve. after sending to SC near my house.
they said change brake servo/booster but still the sound is there.
i really thought they solve the issues after driving. but after really testing the brake the issues still unresolved. event the pedal sound is clear from outside of the car.

I don't know. I've replaced my battery once under warranty and what I got now is 90D23L.

All SCs use Shell Helix semi-syn. I urge you not to waste your money to top up for fully syn. Your car is not a racing car and has no benefit from fully syn.

isn't the benefit for fully synthetic is to further protect your engine ? semi synthetic sludges faster compared to full synthetic. don't think semi synthetic can tahan until 10,000 km hmm.gif

Semi Synthetic life is only 7,000 km max. Full synthetic 10,000 km.
