QUOTE(MissHanz @ Jun 15 2017, 10:49 AM) My car's istop battery has malfunctioned for two months now and I'm still driving it. Touch wood still ok can start up etc. Can someone remind me if I can still get a battery change from Mazda FOC if I've had my car for more than a year? I read somewhere you can change the battery once but don't remember if there was a time limit. If not, what battery should I change, where and how much? Anyway I suspect my car's battery effed up because I let it sit too long without starting the car coz I was away for 6 weeks. I asked my cousin to start it but she didn't so.. oh well. Last thing, does anyone's steering wheel vibrate noticeably while braking/slowing down around 80-90 mph? I don't remember if it used to do that before, so I am not sure if this is normal or if I should bring it up the next time I service my car. Thanks for the help! If not mistaken battery warranty within 1 year only. Do some long distance drive see whether it can charge on it / go to workshop to check for battery capacity. Maybe you should check your break calliper ..

Bermaz has changed the battery warranty to 12 months/20,000km whichever comes first. Most owners experience i-stop malfunction between 12 - 18 months so that's how long the battery lasts. Mine was changed (under warranty) at 15 months. Probably nothing to do with your cousin not starting your car as its time was up. Steering wheel vibrating when braking is not normal. Better take it to a tyre shop to do balancing/alignment and check the brake discs rather than ask Mazda SC to do. This is chargeable and they will charge more but won't do a better job.

The pre-facelift non-GVC Mazda 3 is no longer in production. The remaining stocks are being sold off at steep discount. If they send one to Labuan for you it should not take 2-3 months to arrive. What happened to the display unit? Did the SA sell it to someone else?

Hi guys, I'm having a Mazda3 (white) and face problems with water marks constantly... according to the Pros (Auto-Detailing) it seems that Mazda color (white, grey ) has this issue with the clear coat whereby its kinda sticky and attracts water mark... have u guys encounter this issue?

QUOTE(MissHanz @ Jun 15 2017, 01:21 PM) It needs to have something feeded into it by replacing certain scripts or changing its values. I looked at the coding before. Not sure what counts for not touching the firmware but doesn't really matter to me. I use the same thing you do except I did not pay for that app and got it for free in the forum. You don't have to have the script permanently in the USB, it is a one time thing. If you didn't have the USB with the script plugged in after the first time you did it, it will still work. If I am not wrong, if you keep it in, every time you start your car you are basically re-feeding the script again (I may be wrong). But glad it works fine for you! You can just tell your service center about that (the kurk kruk etc). It's a known issue and they have solutions for it. Where did he put his codes on? Github? Thats on c++ or js? Why need to pay for the app when he provides link for full version download on his website? Is there a list of tried and tested HUD firmware version?

QUOTE(keledek @ Jun 14 2017, 06:36 PM) Bought it. Tried on way home. The first boot up is to insert the script but i believe doesnt alter the firmware. Took 3 min for it to complete. Im leaving the usb thumbdrive permanently there so no need to reinitialise. Screen mirroring work flawlessly but audio is via bluetooth. Used waze. Although far frim perfect but im giving 5 stars anyway Rear camera is it activate when shift to reverse gear? Give up his old version Mazda Media Player v031 screen mirroring works except rear camera goes blank when shift to reverse gear.
