Hey guys, i think this thread is going to be a "tikam" Alonso thread soon.. better keep it low..
McLaren wing passes FIA test QUOTE McLaren's new front wing has once again been passed by the FIA after rivals teams questioned its flexibility. The new wing, which forms a bridge over the nose of the car, made its competitive debut during this past weekend's Spanish GP. However, some concerns were raised by rival teams, who felt the wing was flexing too much down the high speeds straights. The FIA's technical department was therefore called on to examine the wing prior to Sunday's race and gave it the all-clear. An FIA spokesman confirmed to Autosport: "The matter has been investigated and no action is required." Source SO much for the wings, it has been approved once again. No more controversy, no more questioning the flexing of the wings, the McLarens abide by the rules! |

actually so far Massa himself has his own share of bad luck. Australia, he had a gearbox problem in qualifying.
Even last year, both Michael and Massa change engine for Sepang GP, and then in Japan, Michael engine blows up... and yes, just like Alonso's Renault engine blowing up in Monza... all of which has nothing to do with Kimi I read somewhere that the engine design being "freeze" played right into McLaren's hand, as they focus on reliability last year. Australia, he had a gearbox problem in qualifying. erm..doesnt really much advantage given to mclaren but more towards small teams like aguri..as you can see they scored points in Spain..as for reliability, no doubt mclaren improved their reliability but they spent lots of money to make sure its engine is reliable enough last season. As for Ferrari, they engine are always reliable so not much of advantage to mclarenEven last year, both Michael and Massa change engine for Sepang GP, and then in Japan, Michael engine blows up... and yes, just like Alonso's Renault engine blowing up in Monza... all of which has nothing to do with Kimi I read somewhere that the engine design being "freeze" played right into McLaren's hand, as they focus on reliability last year. |

Aguri seems improving.
Honda...argghhh... Only the color changed...performance Webber should have stayed with Williams. Renault looks ok. But seems not fast when tailing Honda. Can't wait for Monaco If Massa won again...can consider him as the fav. title contender? This post has been edited by Raikkonen: May 15 2007, 01:09 PM |

Lol, I wonder if Kimi thinks that he has a jinx with all the cars that he drove. also if shumacher had anything to do with it. Contrary to what ppl said, Schumacher and Kimi don't have a good relation. He even told Jean Todt to "shut that phone off" when Schumacher called him on winning the Aussie GP

Massa is more a driver than a racer. Put him on a clear piece of track and he'll fly. But if he is required to race it out with the others he tends to lose his focus.

He could have lead the WDC if not for his silly mistake at sepang, so called being 'tricked' by Hamilton. This year is gonna be interesting, anyone could win, Raikonen, Massa, Alonso or perhaps Hamilton
