Bahrain hard to overtake...
Bcos all are slow corners... acceleration->braking->acceleration->braking... unlike others cuicuits... MSC shown last year too its impossible to overtake unless someone make mistakes...

great race yesterday with some spectacular moments. though i have to say wat's up with rtm? 8tv did a great job last year airing all the races live and heck there was even a repeat on tv3 later if i'm not mistaken. now that rtm is showing they screw things up? i usually watch my f1 on astro, the rtm thing doesn't affect me but i feel it's highly unfair for those who do not have astro.

oh yea/...i remember last season i watch live @ 8tv...n if i like d result n d race is excited, i will watch tv3 repeat d day after.... biggrin.gif

yeayea...even kimi use pit stop to overtake...not on track...

Nick mentioned that Alonso made mistake, that's why he manage to pass him. If not for that mistake, the front cars are not able to overtake each other. Blame it on the FIA changes to the car regulation. Now they capped the engine at 19k rpm, so drivers cant overdrive the engine for a short moment to make an overtaking move. Not to mention the raised front wing...

That corner where he overtook Alonso...very slippery.
Nick was smart to take the outside line.
So happy he did that.
Less points for the Spaniard laugh.gif

He's good if you gave him a better car.

I watched teh replay on Astro today, and I was dissapointed with the commentators.
I mean, during the closing stages of teh GP, the timing shows that Massa was leading Lewis by 7.5 sec. After a few corners later, he commented, "Massa is now 6.9 seconds in front of Hamilton. The lead is increasing!" WTF???. And "Raikkonen now is just 5 seconds ahead of Hamilton. He can catch him!". If he had saw the timing, Kimi was 3 seconds behind Lewis a lap earlier.
Stupid crappy commentators!!!!

Alonso: Lewis can win the title this season
QUOTE
After seeing his teammate reached the top of the podium for the third time in as many races, double world champion Fernando Alonso conceded that his teammate may win the title this season. "For sure he has a better understanding of the car, and he has the speed to do it", he said. "If he can keep this up, he can win the championship".

Meanwhile Alonso conceded that it was his fault that he only finishes a dissapointing fifth place in the same race. "It was my own fault", he said. "I was having understeer and oversteer at the same time. But I feel that I can do much better in Spain".

Added on April 16, 2007, 7:21 pmDC was so unlucky IMO. He was much faster than the whole midfield. Stupid car!

Impromptu my foot! they are at the race track, with all teh timings in front of them. When the timing on the screen showed teh difference between Lewis and Massa is green (meaning Lewis is catching Massa, at a very fast rate), they said Massa is increasing teh lead. You don't hear that kind of remarks from ITV.

I think that fella is Steve Sl@ter, rite? I can sense that this fella is not reliable especially on technical stuffs. Most of the time, Chris Goodwin has to do correction one..

And.. this Sl@ter fella got a little bit of biasy.. Just listen to the way he commentated during Massa crossed the line during qualifying. when it was Hamilton's turn, he was not that anxious.. sweat.gif

Regarding that Lewis Hamilton catching up Massa thingy.. I think he got colour blind la.. It was obviously green colour and yet he said Massa pulling away.. shakehead.gif

That's why I always wanted to listen to Martin Brundle and James Allen.. thumbup.gif

From Nick's post race comments,
Nick Heidfeld, BMW Sauber (4th):
"I feel fantastic. Currently I have a good car, a good team, I can drive good races and I really enjoy this. Before the race I didn't think I could overtake Fernando (Alonso), but in the second stint I was a bit quicker than him because I had one more set of fresh tyres than him. On the other hand, Fernando had the better top speed. I had to wait until he made a mistake, which he did in corner 13. For the team it is extremely important that both cars finished the race and scored points. I think here we were even stronger than in Malaysia, which is surprising as our car has not changed in the past week. Obviously the track suited us and I had a very good set-up."

Didn't see much of a mistake from Alonso at that corner...at least the end of the straight. But Nick's overtaking maneuver was really close, not giving ANY space to Alonso sweat.gif
